On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is April Fools (0401) by Jimin Park (Jamie)
One of the most talented vocalists under JYP of all time. Like Eric Nam, she's known for her variety skills and less for her music. And also like Eric Nam, it's a shame because she is SUCH a talented vocalist. I remember when this song came out, it would get stuck in my head all the time. The video is interesting too.
Park Jimin changed her stage name to Jamie, since Jimin of BTS has the same name. She has since left JYP and is promoting under Warner Music Korea (another decent label). She competed on Good Girl, a variety show. The last song she released was a Christmas song (which is really good) about a year ago.
