I don't know enough about boy groups so I'll stick to girl groups and remain under 10 picks.
Also, it's not really a subjective list but more like what I see as 4th gen milestones.
1. (G)I-DLE - LATATA
If we agree the 4th generation starts in 2018, then LATATA is the inaugural song for the 4th gen girl groups. Not an absolute smash hit, but it nevertheless achieved way more than what was expected from this relatively nugu group and did set the girls on their own path.
2. IZ*ONE - La Vie En Rose (or FIESTA)
People tend to forget them in 4th gen discussions because they disbanded what seems like a lifetime ago. Yet they're one of the reasons 4th gen was established in 2018 and their impact and success back then was undisputable. And we still see the ripples of it with the debuts of IVE and LE SSERAFIM.
3. ITZY - Dalla Dalla (or WANNABE)
Dalla Dalla was their biggest success but I feel like it's WANNABE that achieved the greater success worlwide. And I like the song more. Either way, ITZY's relevance in early 4th gen (at least) can't be denied.
Needs no explanation I guess.
5. IVE - ELEVEN or LOVE DIVE
Maybe LOVE DIVE achieved more, but it wouldn't have without ELEVEN "paving the way"™.
6. (G)I-DLE - TOMBOY
The rebirth of a group that had been left for dead. A hit that reached heights no one could have anticipated.
We lack hindsight so it's my most uncertain pick. Still it's an incredible debut for such a young group.

I very rarely listen to BGs but it would dishonest of me to make a top 10 out of only GG songs. Some absolutely unreal banger BG songs exist in the 4th gen. Sadly I haven't enjoyed any recent releases from these groups.

This would be a much harder question if it was top 10 4th gen bsides. Most of my faves are the group's bsides.

1. Ponzona by Purple Kiss
Still one of the strongest debuts - so different and immediately caught me with the gorgeous low voices (vs the deliberate higher pitch often in gg songs) and then I stayed for the power and beauty with a dark and powerful sound. Anyone who thinks the 4th gen can't sing has never heard Purple Kiss.

I'm still not over this song - the driving synth, the instantly memorable lines you're shouting in your car, that gorgeous middle section where NingNing takes off into an r&b bop I'd love, big power notes. I don't listen to Savage or Girls much any more but I don't think I've ever skipped Next Level.
watch me while I work it out I love 90s and 00s r&b - that's what first got me into kpop, the nostalgic sounds that are so popular with SM groups. This is just such an addictive ear worm.
Candy-coated pop perfection - once in awhile I fall in love with a great pop song.
I like a lot of WayV songs, but this one still slaps - it's a straight-up bop with sweet harmonies.

Fromis 9 just does the disco pop and city pop styles so well and I really like their warm vocals. I've been obsessed with this song this year. It's just a feel good pop song - check out the live version, it's very cute.

This was the song that made me sit up and take notice of SKZ and it's still as interesting, great and unexpected as when I first heard it.
10. Kep1er - Wa Da Da
I thought this song was messy af but then one day I was vroom vrooming like a supersonic.
Technically, they're 4th gen groups but they are made from other groups, but I'd add SuperM "Jopping" , GOT The Beat "Step Back" and Moonbin & Sanha "Bad Idea.'
I'm currently obsessed with Antifragile and Generation but I need more time before i can say they go in this list.
