Tbh you cant escape racism anywhere. I'm a south asian if I go to south korea there's a big chance Koreans will belittle me. If I go to USA there's a chance they'll call me slurs. If a Korean visits my country, people in my country will call them Chinese or make racist jokes about their eyes or overall appearance. So in the end you cant escape racism anywhere. It's us humans are the problem but that doesnt mean we should minimize everything bcz of some douchebags. But I do agree with the fact that Kpop doesnt need western validation, it's just asians need to stop worshipping white people thinking they need validation from them in order to gain success when it's just we can be fine without them. Kpop was successful and still be successful without their validation.

this literally sounds like a comparison of racism kpop idols are facing which is really unnecesary. Bts isnt the only act who faced racism, blackpink did nct did monsta x did but none of their fans shoving their nose in other fandom's business specially comparing racism.

I need to see how will be the engagement in other social media to have an idea of how It might be received online when the teasers start too, cause I think Stay is too big of a fandom to be resumed by tweets getting 3-4k likes.
For now, I really don't believe It would be the main reason If It underperforms
since twt is considered to be the powerhouse of stay fandom and most stays of other social platforms usually take contents from twt or take screenshots then there's a chance they'll listen to twt stays too. Like tbh stay fandom is really nothing without twt stays.
Also the coca cola collab underperformed even there were big fandoms involved the song wasnt good either lol so overall knowing how dedicated stays are the song still underperformed so this can give us an answer

I don't think Its the majority, It's just that the minority seems very loud.
It will underperform If It doesn't please the fandom in terms of style/genre, what can happen since SKZ and Charlie Puth are very different musically, so we don't know how much influence he has on it. I don't think 'boycott' will be part of it.

I'm seeing a lot of twts with thousands of likes who are planning to boycott it than those who are supporting it. Personally I'm not feeling good about it so let's see what happens.
