On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Boom Boom Clap by Highteen
This group was a breath of fresh air. All the members promised not to get plastic surgery and I think all the members have unique beautiful faces. A famous YouTuber, Jessica Lee, was supposed to debut in this group, but left the industry right before their debut. Plus, the song is really catchy. This concept has gotten pretty popular since the rise of Weeekly and Stayc, so it's too bad Highteen isn't active.
Highteen made one 2 years later. Then we never heard from them again. They are assumed to have silently disbanded in 2019. None of the members are really doing anything nowadays. One is pursuing a modeling career but that's it.
