On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Too Late by Co-Ed School
I present to you all, one of my favorite Kpop songs of all time. It sounds like a Britney Spears banger. And the fact that it's a co-ed group makes it ten times better. This group had potential to completely change the entire industry of Kpop. Oh MBK, another group you've failed.
Sadly Co-ed school shortly disbanded after this song. TW: one of the members was accused of r*pe pre-debut. Nothing was confirmed though. However in 2017 he was charged for drug smuggling marijuana. After their disbandment the group was split into two groups. The girls formed F-ve Dolls and the boys formed SPEED. Sadly, both groups failed despite delivering great music. Taewoon, Zico's brother, is now a solo rapper called Wuno. Chanmi competed on Produce 101, was the evil-edit of that season, competed on Mix Nine (with Taewoon) but did not debut. She debuted as a solo artist in 2020. Then she competed on Miss Trot 2 and made it pretty far. So now she is pursuing a trot career.
