What groups can you actually name every member? /are 4th gen idols forgettable?

Ok fourh gen that nobody knows. Only one of. Mill, Kyubin,nine,rie, Junji,yoojung and formally the member love aka park jisung

idk it just depends on ourselves and possibly our facial recognition skills and also how much time we spend on the internet. for example, i can name SO MANY members from random groups i don't even stan. it only takes me a couple of diff videos to fully recognise who they are. this is especially true for all the popular groups. the more people you learn the easier it will be to learn even more faces. all u need is to watch random videos on random idols and its pretty easy.

i can name a lot but the problem is that there have been previous generations before them and i can only remember so much so if the 4th gen groups existed in a bubble and the previous gens were never in the picture then i can definitely remember most if not all. for me, it isn't necessarily because they're boring and forgettable. it's just that my brain is at capacity rn

Twice. One members name ALWAYS escapes me

4th Gen:

Weeekly. I always forget about JaeHee and also sometimes Soeuns name escapes me and confuse it with other similarly spelled names (Seon, Soeyun etc)

GIdle. I know the names and can name the memebrs if shown a pic, except Minnie. Always forget about her.

Red Velvet. I know theres a Wendy, Irene and Slug but cant put the names to the faces

4th Gen:

IVE. Only really know Wony, Gaeul and Yujin (Yunjin??). The other three are just blurs. I think theres LiZ and Rei but don't know what they look like. Theres one more member as well but who?

New Jeans: Confusing as fuck. Only know Danielle by picture and name. Then theres the three interchangeable H named girls and some other one...

I definitely agree. I may be biased since im mainly a BG stan, but I only know wonyoung and yujin are in ive, hiyyih and xiaoting in kepler, lilly, sullyoon in nmixx, and the list goes on. Itzy, twice, mamamoo, gidle i can name. Thatś because they all have unique identities and concepts that sets them apart.

For bgs, I can name all members of skz, enha, txt, and bts. I can name a few members from NCT and SVT but those groups have a country's worth of members. I just feel that 4th gen BGs have more seperate identities and concepts. Most GGs are either a cute or girl crush concept and also styled very similarly (eg. you could show me a pic of ive and lesserafim, and I could not tell the difference between them) and the similarity gets really boring.

I can name all of ive, aespa, lsf, nj, loona, g idle, wooah and itzy. Its not that hard if you have great memory and like ggs. I think i remember ateez and treasure a bit too but i cant swear on that.

I can name 6 of the 7 BTS members, and can put those names to face for about 3-4 members. One member always eludes me - RM, Jimin, Jungkook, Suga, V, J-Hope and Other

And Stray Kids - Hyunjin

Oh and from mostly memes I know about Shindong and Wonho, but don't really know their groups.

Outside my group (G)I-DLE who I can obviously name -

BTS, Red Velvet, Itzy, Blackpink, Exid, Mamamoo, 4Minute, Aespa (but struggle on photo recognition).

Groups that are popular I couldn't name many, if any members with a gun to my head - Twice, Ive, LSF, NJ, Txt, Skz, Stayc, Nmixx.

I guess looking at it OP maybe has a point, I can think of only 3 4th gen groups I could name all the members.

I think more than telling their names it is more hard to identify who is who according to their faces except few groups I can't distinguish between the members

I think I know more 4th gen GG members compared to 3rd gen. I can confidently identify Mamamoo and Blackpink members. Half of Twice I can’t remember and even though I love Red Velvet, Yeri, Joy and (can’t remember her now) are interchangeable (I only know Seulgi and Irene).

4th gen I recognise every member of Itzy, G-idle, Le sserafim and IVE (still having problems with newjeans though, they are kinda alike but I’m getting there).

For BGs I only recognise BTS members confidently. Even their shadows or shoes or tip of their noses lol.

Ive: Wonyoung, Yujin, Gauel, Rei, Liz

Aespa: Karina, Winter, Ninning, Gissel (???) their names are kinda easy to memorized but the last one

Itzy: Lia, Yuna, Yeji (???), Chaeyrong ??? (Chaeyeon's sister), Ryjujin (???)

G-Idle: Seoyon (???), Shuahua

Stayc: oh no I like their songs but can't remember their name at all, gezz.

Ok I think I'm pretty bad with Korean name then, they're hard.
