DANCER
- He was the 3rd member to join Big Hit Ent, now Hybe. He said he came to Seoul on Christmas Eve of 2010.
- He was part of a dance crew called NEURON.
- He had won many dance competitions in the past and was already acknowledged for his skills as a street dancer before becoming part of the final BTS line-up in 2012.
- As the group's dancer leader, j-hope helps the other members learn and practice the choreography.

- From 2018 onwards, he has been a member of the "Green Noble Club" which recognizes high-value donors of Child Fund Korea.
- Some of his donations were kept private until revealed later on.
- Whenever j-hope publicizes his donations, it is so that he can inspire others to do the same.
