On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is I'll Keep It by Smash
Smash was a 6 membered group that debuted in 2008, so they're one of the older entries on this series. One member left soon after their debut and they became a quintet for the rest of their careers. I REALLY like the chorus of this song. It gets stuck in my head all the time after these years. They just don't make Kpop songs and MVs like this anymore
Like most nugu boy groups in the 2nd who could afford a budget, they were shipped off to Japan. They released a couple of songs there until 2012. The group was on hiatus for awhile before officially disbanding in 2015. Good news is that they actually had a reunion last year in November on World, the leader's instagram. Fun fact, there was an 11 year age gap between him and the maknae. World was 28 when he debuted in Smash and he was previously in a boy group called D.Bace that debuted in 2001. World is the only member who is still really active. He has a Youtube channel where he vlogs and posts covers.
