Hidden Gems #116: Up by RaNia

On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Up by Rania

Before we had Cardi's Up, we had Rania's Up. This song is so early 2010s and I love that about it. It was actually a CF for some theme park so they never promoted it. I think it's a really good club anthem.

I think everyone is aware of the messy and complicated history of Rania. One of these girls is still active as a solo artist called Cosmic Girl. Three of the girls were supposed to debut as a trio after leaving Rania, but that debut fell through. Rania rebranded as BP Rania, then promoted as Rania again, and then they rebranded as Black Swan. Black Swan just made a comeback yesterday.
