I think top girl group will strongly be between Aespa and Hybe girl group but right now it’s Aespa. Enhypen will be a dark horse i see them taking over 4th generation

Isn’t aespa just snatched a record for the most week song in top 5 gaon weekly among gg. And just second after bts. That ready prove the song is a national hits, the girls snatched cf too now, and their debut album will definitly sell like a hot cake too soon.

I mean, wbk aespa is the leader of 4th gen. That's a big deal bc a 4th gen groups show massive potential, 4 of them haven't even debuted yet (starship, hybe, jyp and yg nggs)

The boy groups are all warring with each other; SKZ TXT and EN- are all right on top of each other.

I would say AESPA is a promising act to keep an eye out for in the future. Next Level truly elevates them to the next level, what's left is what SM would do to keep up with their growing popularity

TXT - SKZ - Enhypen - Treasure - ITZY - STAYC - Weekly are also acts that have debuted that I believe would have their hit moment soon

Some groups that I will look out for: Starship GG & PNation BG , Starship because of the amazing rumoured line up and Pnation because I know Psy sure knows how to market his acts well

Considering how everyone from 2nd and 3rd gen is still going strong influence-wise, I think it is harder for these acts to shine but it is what it is, I hope none of these young talented people got their dreams snatched before their eyes

For bgs I see that skz, txt & enhypen are the ones who are taking the lead~👀

The thing is right now there isn’t girlgroup neither boygroup leading in all criterias simultaneously for a top group so it’s hard to rank a #1.

Obviously Aespa if they continue in their trajectory and then Stray Kids/TXT depending on who you ask but I can see Enhypen becoming bigger as well.

I think trends will change.

I don't think there will be a clear dominant 4th gen gg or bg like BTS Twice and Blackpink. There will be top 4th gen ggs and top 4th gen bgs but the gap won't be as big between them and their competitors. However I see nugus dying out very fast as well.

Personally Aespa are already showing that they are going to dominate 4th gen. I don't see any other group toping them, I think for BG I see Enhypen and TXT dominating. It is already clear as day who will stay popular. I think a lot of groups that are popular now will sizzle out once other big 3 ggs start debuting and BGS. I also see Stray Kids continuing to make a name for themselves.

I believe that the leading groups both for bgs and ggs have already debuted. The leader for 4th gen ggs is yet to debut in my opinion. We have ygngg and hybengg (not the sakura one but the one under min heejin's label) and those two are a big threat for the current ggs. If they don't do as well as expected though then the leader for ggs will be either aespa or itzy

About boy groups the competition is between txt, enhypen and stray kids. I am cheering for enhypen and waiting them to become what nobody expected 👀

for BG i havent seen any strong contender. They are all selling very well but lack a proper hit

For GG, obviously aespa at the frontrunning now. Need to see YG and HYBE new GG

I don't think any 4th gen bg really stands out that much in Korea at least. Internationally I'd say txt.

As for gg, we still have a lot of strong contenders to debut in the next few years like hybe's gg, jypn, starship's gg and ygngg.

So far aespa and itzy are leading this gen but itzy needs better consistency and aespa needs to show they can maintain their success after next level. I think we'll have a clearer picture of the 4th gen leaders by the end of next year imo.

More accurately, I don't think 4th Gen will see ONE Girl group clearly ahead by leaps and bounds but we'll see a 3-4 way struggle between very closely matched groups, almost like a category of equals. Not like how SNSD and BlackPink clearly led their generation.

I see aespa, STAYC, Weeekly and one other Big 3 girl group in this elite tier of equals but with Weeekly slightly ahead.
