do you remember Chaeyeon from DIA?
they were playin together in Golden Spoon kdrama
and Chaeyeon looked like very pretty but regular girl
and Yeonwoo looked like extraordinary beautiful visual
and styling didn't matter
overall I've had this thing in multiple other kdrama when main cast member but not main female character is prettier than the one which has more screentime

she's cute but to be honest i saw girls looking like her in tons of groups and survival show
that's why i don't get the hype around her, solely because i never see anybody praise these other girls visuals so i don't see what's different with her

The only answer I agree with
I'm an odd case in that almost all official visuals don't appeal to me (though there are exceptions).
And I think it's because I prefer people with some "imperfections".
Don't get me wrong, I can definitely see why many official visuals are considered visuals, it's just that I usually find other members more attractive.
There are people who like 2lb beef patty burger, bacon,egg, 3 kinds of sauces and cheese, smashed between two donuts as buns.

I’m a gay guy so i feel like for me i really am kinda paying attention to their visuals in a different way and in my opinion theres a little too much of a push to be REALLY skinny.

The thing is, we know certain traits can make someone more attractive. For some it's money. For some it is talent. Charitability, humor, confidence, humility, etc. Once we know those traits about a person, it becomes impossible to separate.
When people talk about Nayeon, it is usually because of her personality first and visual second. She known for her memes and playful nature before she is known for her visual but her strong personality makes her very attractive for her fans and is impossible to look at a still image of her and not have those associations fire in my brain as well.
This is why I often see Nayeon in threads like this. Objectly, she probably not on the same level as other known for their visuals but for fans, it's easy to see why she's the prettiest to look at. Her smile and charm fits Twices early concept best which is why she is often center, most of their early key choreo is very cutesy and it's hard to find another member who can pull it off as naturally.
If it was a while ago I could list a bunch of people but nowadays it genuinely feels like i can see the appeal about everyone... I used to find Jisoo, Seulgi, Krystal, Yoona, Sana and even Irene plain, but now I find all of them drop dead gorgeous, especially Krystal. I also didn't get the hype about V or txt but if you stop to look at them, they are actually good looking. In short, i can see that all of these people are good looking even if they don't give me any wow feeling in particular and I dont really care about admiring them for their looks. I only start being really amazed about someone if they give good vibes or I find their personality appealing.
