yeah i get that if the rapper’s never sung before but there have been a number of female idol rappers that have also sung alongside rapped, enough to judge their singing voice so

nah of course everyone’s entitled to their opinion but every single vocal instructor i’ve seen (and there are a lot) has ranked dawon higher than yeonjung in terms of techniques so idt it’s that controversial an opinion. Their difference isn’t huge but it’s still there

Okay but remember how this thread started out. You said list people's voices you like specifically and you even clarified "not about who has the best technique." But now that I said somebody had better technique, you're trying to argue, no the person's voice who I prefer has better technique. If you like her voice better, that's fine. But there's a reason Yeonjung always gets the high notes, was recognized for her vocal talent of Produce 101, and won a vocal competition easily among all active girl group members.

what does the fact that i think dawon has better techniques have anything to do with who i like better lol?? Did you fail to see i like umji and moonbyul’s voices the most in their groups?? 😂 I was only discussing dawon and yeonjung’s case in particular bc I personally believe dawon is better than yeonjung, simple as that. You don’t see me arguing about lia/chaeryeong’s techniques for example despite the fact we each prefer a different vocalist. Lol not everyone is biased and only argues when it fits them mate

also when i said “agree to disagree” i meant agreement about who’s the better vocalist, not who should be preferred so idek what you’re arguing about lol. Do you not agree to disagree with me about who the better vocalist is or what 😐
We can just agree to disagree. Its just when you make a thread about whose voice you prefer, and even clarify it's not about technique, the implication is that these are artists whose voices I prefer even though they dont have the "best" technique.
