Jihan (지한) is a South Korean singer signed under Play M Entertainment. She is currently the lead vocalist, lead dancer, and visual of the girl group Weeekly.
I. Pre-Debut
Jihan was born Han Ji Hyo (한지효) on July 12, 2004 in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. She has graduated from Anyang Buheung Middle School and attends Hanlim Multi Art High School. She is a former SM Entertainment trainee.
II. Career
On May 11, 2020, Jihan's profile, photo, and stage name were revealed and she officially debuted as a member of Weeekly on June 30 with the mini album We Are.
On February 19, 2021, Jihan was chosen as one of the new MCs for SBS MTV's The Show alongside Ateez's Yeosang and WEi's Kim Yo Han. Her first episode as MC aired on March 2.
