On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Study by Stellar
Stellar, the group well known for the sexy concept, once upon a time only did the cute concept. This song is so addicting and the dance is really cute. I do like Stellar's more mature concepts better, but this song is just so catchy.
So lots of people know about Stellar's unfortunate circumstances. They were forced into a sexy concept they didn't want to do and suffer lots of PTSD from their more successful era because they got extremely slut-shamed. Where I stand on the issue, the songs are literally some of the best Kpop songs of all time. I don't want their suffering to be for nothing, so yes, I still do jam to these songs for the girls and their hard work. They made their last comeback in 2018 when they added a fifth member to the group only for one song. Then the original members left when their contract ended and a year later the two other well-known members left because their contract ended. Gayoung was on Miss Back, a show that gave 2nd gen female stars a second chance. Jeonyul is pursuing a solo career and is set to make a comeback soon. The other members haven't been up to much. These 4 members have a very strong bond and still frequently hang out together.
