sm were inarguably the #1 company in the 00s-early 10s, with their boy groups selling really well and doing well on digital charts. same goes for their ggs (fx were kinda a flop but they still sold pretty good)
at some point during the 2010s YG would have blackpink, bigbang, winner, ikon all do pretty well on the digital charts across the span of a few years, with bp/bb doing very well touring wise
now its looking like we're entering the hybe era with most, if not all of their groups doing well or leading their area.
this doesn't really seem to be the case though with jyp, they had wonder girls who were hot for like 2 years, miss a who had like one massive hit and a couple mini hits, etc. their boy groups have done well but they've never really led their area in any aspect. they do have twice who have shown to have longevity along with leading their area/gen in certain aspects...but that's it really. is jyp in fact the weakest of the big4 success-wise?
