Even if they did, it's female fans that keep Kpop Group's financially viable.
This is a fact that has never changed in South Korea or globally for that matter.

Dang...
Stanning groups was cheaper in 2015/2016 :P
Doobyu or Tzubu?
It depends on methodology but if Psy is appearing then it might be an accumulation of historical data rather than recent data.
So simplified
STAYC's Revenue
less Expenses
= STAYC's Profit where they will get a Share (depending on the Contract)
less STAYC's Wage/Salary etc
= Profit the Company made
The $755k is what the Company made
I am really curious how Taylor suddenly become so big. I mean she isn't somebody who's new, she's been active for many years and now she's having her career peak.
Btw one of the better things about American pop. Kpop idols seem to have such a short career in comparison, in just a few years people move on.
Like Taylor debuted before SNSD, can anyone imagine a scenario where SNSD would be the trendiest idols right now in SK?
She didn't suddenly become big, it's just that Seventeen and Stray Kids haven't had a Comeback yet :P
Taiwan just had an election, their new President will take over in May.
Unfortunately The CCP and their internet bullies are still there to talk shit about Tzuyu
That sounds promising, it did go to the party that was voted in during the Tzuyu Scandal but I hope that the controversy died with Tsai Ing-wen
JYPE's Schedule for July 2023
07.03 #Itzy Pre-release Bet on Me
07.11 #NMIXX A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream Comeback
07.14 #MiSaMo Do Not Touch Me MV (Debut)
07.14 A2K first episode on Youtube
07.19 #NiziU COCONUT Album Release
07.21 Nizi Project 2
07.24 #Itzy Pre-release None of My Business
07.26 #MISAMO Masterpiece Album Release
07.28 #Boy Story Comeback
07.31 #ITZY KILL MY DOUBT Comeback
That's an example of Acts competing with each other as there is overlapping Promotions, HYBE aren't even worth mentioning
Well....
Tzuyu was basically forced to be low profile due to the Chinese Flag Scandal, it's something that has affected her life as an Idol because we know that JYPE wanted to cash in on her especially as she was the link to China and other countries where Mandarin was a major language.
Her gig in Singapore is a massive step for her, hopefully she'll get to promote in Taiwan which is problematic due to their current President that used her as a pawn during the Flag Scandal to promote thier agenda.
Her growth as a Singer has been good to watch as has been her friendship with other female Chinese Idols
"BlackPINK in your area" is a chant because it's not a line that matches the contents of the song itself, you can replace it with any Name and the song will still make sense.
It's similar to TWICE, Stray Kids, Itzy and NMIXX using their names as part of chants in their songs or the even more famous.....
So I'm not sure how self aware any of it is :P
Display MoreNo not a bad example, they're the best example.
This is SNSD debut stage.

Live. Stable. Tough routine. All as day 1 rookies.
You posted a dance remix version of their song used for special perfs, it's not the official version. They didn't leave special version's of almost all the songs outside things like concerts or gayos. So there's no point pretending that's how sm how does things normally in order to make it out as if SNSD are lip syncers.
Dance remix means they don't sing live which is my point that SME has 2 versions also the version you posted is probably not live based on their actual live vocals as Yuri is far too stable compared to how crap she is later
The 4th gen are the COVID generation where they cashed in on the 3rd gen making Social Media relevant so those forced in lockdown developed interest in Kpop that they probably wouldn't had done otherwise.
Of course we are in POST-COVID where the interest in Kpop is slowing down so it's not as easy to get noticed on Social Media but it's still a hell of a lot easier than TWICE had it :P
What is BP music since it's 2Ne1 music too?
SNSD came out with ITNW and sang live as kids
A bad example as SNSD had a Dance Version and a Vocal Version of thier songs, it's SME's policy since their first generation of Idols.
They do their Dance Version of ITNW for their 2nd song but their first song is their Live Verson where their vocals aren't up to scratch.
BTW, SME were one of the few Kpop Companies to have dual versions, the rest just lipsynched
It's nostalgia at best but not currently topical, nor has much promotional value as the comments are mainly from present and past fans.
The best that JYPE can do is to re-release older albums, which they are doing.
That question has been asked about TWICE fans when Itzy debut, then NiziU, then NMIXX and VCHA, when the reality is, TWICE fans stan TWICE because they are TWICE, so BP fans will stan BP for being BP.
It's not really complicated but it is annoying that there is expectation of "Senior Fans" to stan new groups when they are in the same company.
Kpop was hit hard as the Pandemic Bubble burst over valued stock prices in the last 52 weeks, HYBE losing around 40% of it's value while the Big 3 shed over half of their value.
Despite getting record profits for 2023, JYPE was estimated to earn even more but their stocks were over valued.
