You people who only stan 1 group

i used to be like that when i newly got into kpop and bts. i would just stick to them even going as far as removing people from my twitter tl who would post about other groups. but then award shows rolled in a few months later and i fell in love with twice... the rest was history

No, I like some songs but I don’t stan the groups

this was me when i got into twice in 2015 bahahaha

For kpop groups , I used to only stan bts till txt came , BB4 was another group I used to stan but they are not kpop.

I don't actively look for other groups music, if I heard something by chance and liked it, I will add it to my playlist.( Mostly female soloists, kpop solo females do have some really good totke tracks)

Award shows are good for discovering new groups, if I like the performance I will look up tha group and checkout some of their songs and if like most then stan them, happened with txt with run away.

I will say the two groups where I listen to almost all albums fully are BTS and DAY6.

I associate stan more with fandoms and thus I usually say I stan only BTS because I barely interact with any DAY6 fan lol.

But yes I check out other groups and am mostly up to date with the new comebacks in kpop. Either I don't like enough of their music or I'm just not too bothered to look into them fully because it's too much effort. I'm a very picky person with music so there's usually a lot of things that put me off. I'm casually interested in

more groups though.

I was like this in the starting and used to feel that if my ult group's fan account posts about someone else's group then they aren't loyal. One day I had sent a dm to one of the largest core teams in my country who handles every event or buys albums in bulk for us that I am so loyal to the "XYZ" group that I boycott other groups LMAO. I was so immature thanks to my eagerness to explore more groups, Now I am a multi.

I stan only BTS. Absolutely love TxT.

I give listen to title tracks of kpop artists. If they don't impress me, I won't listen to that respective album or their discography unless I encounter a song that I like.

I mean I won't ignore any artists knowingly. I was listening to 30's and 40's country music during lockdown. I have followed all of hip hop history till 80's and I still play songs of the artists as far as 60's. So yeah I am open minded.

I just don't have enough time on my hand. Uni and work take almost 12-16 hours of my day. Then there's my family and loved ones. I watch sports. Also sometimes movies and anime. So yeah give me some hours if you have some extra.

Not my fault that no other group can get me hooked like that one particular group that I stan (gfriend). To answer your question I listen to many groups in kpop but I’m not invested or have enough interest in another groups than my favs.

no i dont go out of my way to check any other kpop song .

Some songs i did check were those i had to listen to to have context in some discussions, pure curiosity, or accidental radio on spotify before i wised up and discovered how to deactivate that.

My exposure to other groups comes from other groups come from having to watch end year award shows and is mostly a frustrating exercice.

LOL, I just don't have the time to stan more than BTS and BP. And the sad truth is that if BP were releasing as much content as BTS, I couldn't follow both

But I definitely check out other groups, casually. I have a 'BTS' playlist on Spotify, a 'Blackpink' playlist, and then a 'kpop' playlist with Loona, SKZ, Day6, Twice etc... I like them well enough, I just don't have the time to follow them closely, lol.

Most of my friends are ARMY, but with 'open mind', so we will easily share new kpop songs that we found. It's just chill.

this is exactly me, except for me, it's txt instead of BTS and BTS instead of DAY6

I don't have time and energy to stan more groups tbh

I casually listen to exo, day6, bp, taeyeon, taemin, stray kids too

I check out songs from other groups and sometimes even watch their contents if they're interesting. But I only stan 1 group (treasure) and keeping up (which includes voting, arguing with antis, etc.) with 12 members is already enough for me. They have constant contents and have what all I want from a group so I don't see myself being a multi.

I checked other groups yea. For some reason, their personalities all come off as fake and unlikable to me or there is an issue with their music. I mean idol image is usually fake what's new.

Also I want to put as much effort as I can for my no.1 . A lot of people stan multiple groups but don't even purchase any albums from them. I did all I could for my faves as a fan

I only stan TxT don’t have the time stan other groups, busy with university. I do listen casually other groups song and if I like it I add to my playlist, other than no.

I stan several acts but I only stan BTS when it comes to kpop. I did check out other groups but I couldn’t stick around for long. I don’t vibe with most kpop music. Just a few songs from here and there I’m willing to add to my playlist.

The only k act I’ve come close to almost stanning is IU but her new album was a miss for me. I’ll admit her voice was still gorgeous on the songs.

Aside from liking the members, music and performances, I feel like stanning entails following their off-stage activities, behind the scenes stuff, spending money on them, etc.

So in that sense, I only really stan Mamamoo. The rest, I check out albums and live stages. Occasionally variety shows and interviews. I just consider myself a casual fan.

I like other groups but I only really watch every content, keep up to date with, regularly interact with people from Twice fandom. All my votes are for Twice too. I am a casual listener of other groups though and I watch some variety content from groups I like but don't stan. I also only have physical albums of Twice and early BTS albums. As of now I only plan on buying Twice merch and albums.

I checked out the big groups and most of the bigger hit songs when I first found BTS, but I didnt click with most of it, other than few songs here and there. I did kind of solo stan GD for about 3 days, but VIPs ended that pretty quickly.

Now Ive given up on kpop and my exposure to it is award shows or music shows if theyre on the same show as BTS. And sometimes I check out the bigger songs out of curiousity. Theres a few groups whose new songs I check out, since Ive liked more than one song in the past (TXT, Twice, BP before I lost hope). And sometimes I check out songs when theres a thread for it on AKP, but I dont really comment since the one time I gave my honest opinion it didnt go all that well.

I ain't got no time for more than one anyway, i check new songs from time to time tho

I only really stan BTS, but I consider myself a fan of Day6 and The Rose as well since I like most of their discography and I check out their live performances when they release new tracks

I'm mostly a casual listener when it comes to other groups/singers, for example Gidle and Sunmi, their title tracks have been a hit for me so I get excited when they release new ones but I don't really listen to their full albums

Yes I do to some believe it or not. Unfortunately it is a numbers game. By the time they release any one content, Twice already release 10000 videos. Like what can I do seriously? I feel hopelessly charmed

i did the opposite way, i used to be a multifandom and was interested in kpop as a whole back in 2013-2014 but nowadays the only group i really care about is BTS.

nobody got time fo dat. stanning bts alone, we have years worth of content. i got no choice though when sitting down through award shows but i also mute them whenever possible
