They probably already disbanded, YYL was their final thing
Its always sad when a group disbands so I hope they at least have a final cb for their fans before disbanding

I don't know, really. Nancy's awfully skinny these days, that's usually a comeback sign. They were active in the Philippines right up until Xmas time. We'll see I guess. I'm not holding my breath anymore, thats for sure.
I chose the 2nd option.
I'm voting for the underdog option cause Im a betting woman.
Imagine if they came back with something like that this spring!?!
You'd become an instant Billionaire unnie!

Talk about being self destructive
Do people have a feeling that there is an issue between the members and the company?
Because is not like the girls are involved in many activities outside the group. So I am not sure what careers would they follow if they disband.

Ahin and JooE might possibly venture on solo careers, they already have to a certain extent:
Nayun has acted in web dramas already, its her calling, i'm pretty sure
Jane has a vlog on YT but that's it really
As for Nancy and Hyebin, I have no idea tbh.
As for possible issues between the members and the agency, well, Jane recently said that everything MLD has is because of them! lol which is actually true. Its the way she said it tho, i'm not sure she was praising the agency at all.
Nancy once declared that they were treated unfairly in comparison to T1419 since their managers were buying lunches and all kinds of perks. But she said it amicably i guess, no biggie.
Other than that, its a mystery, no one knows. They all have their IG stories running and all but they're not saying much. Merries are clueless. We got this from Ahin last night, that's it.....
it's the standard company line for something like this right?
keep them jobless and dungeoned up until their contract expires?
either that or a non-compete clause.
either that or a non-compete clause.
and a name copyright. That pretty much seals it.
well if it were a good company the group would still have activities and no one would even be discussing the "inevitable" disbandment
compare to a group like twice for example whilst there are non-renewal talks I don't think anybody said hey I think twice will disband - people were disussing whether all the members would renew with JYPE but twice as a brand/ group /entity would still continue
here it seems to be the case of everybody sorta knows it's gonna happen it's just a matter of time

I will talk about this ignoring the fact that I'm a Twice fan.
Those talks about Twice were for health reasons. And the pressure that they had on them as flagship GG of JYP.
I was very happy when they all renewed. But it also gave them more personal freedom.
In my opinion, at least, only SNSD managed to do that.
I think that MLD needs to learn from their mistakes and I'll leave it at that.

I'm a twice fan too mate lol
not just that but I'm sure the new contract allows them much more individual activities
you can tell literally every member had more solo gigs in 2022 than they had in their entire previous 6 years!!!
I almost guarantee that twice's new contract is more favourable towards twice than it is to JYPE
I hope so but I wouldn't bet on it...
yes, that bad, its all over twitter. I posted an update on the other groups if you scroll up a bit

Not sure how much I can share, but I can say that it is.
It's an individual contract instead of a team contract.
And with a clause that they will all join team efforts.
But I can't say where I know it from. Or I might just be talking shit.
sorry love but truth be told, the end is near and so is freedom for the members. This pathetic management can't go on forever.
One last CB & disbandment end of the year 😌
in all likelihood
One last CB & disbandment end of the year 😌
I hope they will get that CB
Well said. They elected to debut a BG with the money in lieu of promoting further releases for them properly. I'm not bad mouthing T1419, its not their fault, i'm just saying, it was a bad business model for an Agency with a basement practice room! They sat on it and gambled on producing a different type of market content whereas they had a proven formula to expand on.
