Is it better to be a multi-stan or stan a single group?

being a multi is life!

Multi all the way.
Single group stans have like zero music and zero content

depends on the person and their preferences tbh
I only stan Stray Kids because they click with me like no kpop act does. I've tried getting into other groups but I gave up early into that every time simply because I didn't feel like it came naturally, and I didn't see a point in forcing it.
That doesn't mean I don't check out new music or sometimes performances from other groups. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

multi for sure. so much more variety!

You get more music to be excited about as a multi, even if it occasionally results in a lot of competition like getting (G)I-DLE, Brave Girls, Solar, and Stray Kids coming back in the same week. It can be hard to keep on top of all of them.
I wonder if single stans of NCT get all the benefits of a multi with all the benefits of a single, and none of the cons, lol.

Well... seems like i am in the minority here as an only fandom, imo it depends on personal preferences, in my case i only stan one kpop group because for me to stan a group i have to REALLY love and care about the members on a deep level and only BTS has been able to make me feel a strong connection, then i listen to a few random kpop songs from random kpop acts if i like it and a good amount of western songs/artists, i would say my spotify playlist right now is: 65% BTS, 25% western artist songs and 10% random kpop songs i like from groups i don't particularly care/stan.

I guess this goes back to what being a ''stan'' even implies in the first place
Enhypen is the only group I follow outside of their music with a little TXT here and there,so in that regard I am a single group stan. However,I am a casual listener of many groups.
I can see why being multi would probably be more fun,but I simply have no stamina to follow more than one group.

Onlys don't do it deliberately most of the times, usually we just don't click enough with other groups but listen casually to songs we like and that's it.

I mean it makes sense if that's the case, but I've seen kpop stans that straight up restraining themselves for not stan more than one group.

Same. Rather than complaining about lack of BP contents, I have other groups which I can fall back to.
