On this series we remember songs that have been forgotten or were never even given the attention they deserved. Today's Hidden Gem is Glow by Hellovenus
Hello Venus are known for starting out with a really cute concept and transitioning to a very sexy concept for the rest of their career. They are also one of those groups who everyone has heard of, but they don't have a hit. Glow is probably their most underappreciated song, Fantagio didn't really give it any promotions so many people don't even know it exists. This song is so beautiful and it's one of my favorite ballads by a Kpop girl group ever.
Hellovenus officially disbanded in 2019. Most of the members are actually still under Fantagio, but almost all of them are pursuing acting instead. Nara and Alice are the only members who actually left the label. Nara has actually made a name for herself as an actress. She's starred in multiple hit dramas and usually gains attention for her visuals at awards ceremonies. Alice is the only member still pursuing a musical career and recently made a solo comeback. All the members are still very close with each other.
