Controvesial topic!? - No groups should have more than 4 members!

Maybe it's not that controversial, but I'm curious, because my opinion is that the Kpop industry should stop creating groups with more than 4 members. I think, if a group has more than 4 members, they're making it hard for people to focus on everyone, it's harder to differentiate them from each other. Especially, if they all look very similar and sound similar. I think groups should be more versatile, and not just in music, but in style, and personality too.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time with new groups to remember their names or their faces. Even with some of my "favorite" groups from the new gens.

Or maybe, it's not about the numbers, it's more about the fact that they're trying to hide each other flaws, or they're not as talented individually as they should, so they don't stand out.

For the record: I'm not talking about any group, this is just a simple question for you, to start a conversation! Maybe, I'm not alone.

To be fair, I'm more into girl groups. With male singers, I prefer soloists or duos, like Melomance.

I stan groups from 2-10 members and the music is great so I don't think having a large number is that big of a deal just takes forever to figure out who's who

To be fair, if they're talented singers, rappers and most of them are great dancers too, that helps a lot, even if you can't learn their names even after a year. 😅 Prime example: EXO.

Holy Shit! I'm a Kpop fan since the 1st Gen, but your list making me look like a baby Kpop fan.🤣 I mean the physical album collection. To be fair, I only buy from my ultimate faves. It's too expensive nowadays, too many editions. Also, I have to sleep somewhere too.🤣

Honestly, with Asian over music, not just Kpop, the problem is the TAX! The album itself isn't really expensive. At least in Korea, for example. But if we count the tax and a shipping fee, that's like 3x over the original price. Not to mention, that most Kpop shops doesn't have the pre-order bonuses. I live in Europe and finally found a store that actually sells new albums with pre-order bonuses, on a relatively good price. Only this month, I bought SIX albums, 2 is a pre-order. IU's and Moonbyul's. So, yeah, RIP my bank account.🤣
