I. Introduction:
BXB (비엑스비; short for Boy By Brush) is a five-member boy group under Wolfburn. They made their debut on January 30, 2023 with the single album "Intro: Flight and a New Beginning".
Boy By Brush holds the meaning of drawing the youth as they express various chapters of youth with music of various genres.
Ji Hun, Hyun Woo, Si Woo, and Ha Min are former members of the boy group TRCNG.
They debuted on the exact same day as 8TURN.
II. History:
2022: APR PROJECT
On April 29, 2022, the company announced it would hold an Instagram Live for "APR PROJECT" on May 2 at 18:00 KST.
On May 1, a timetable was released for the group, then known pre-debut as APR PROJECT. Two days later, the company released the first group's concept photo teaser for "Boyhood I S#1", the first installment of their pre-debut "Youth Trilogy" project titled "Sadness, Beginning, Flight". It was released on June 6, 2022.
In a interview with No Cut News, the group revealed that they are expected to debut at the end of 2022 or early 2023, after completing the "Youth Trilogy" and adding new members.
On September 29, the company released a teaser for their second digital single "Boyhood I S#2", released on October 10 and featured songs with Ho Hyeon, another former member of TRCNG.
2023: Debut with "Intro: Flight and a New Beginning"
On January 10, 2023, a logo motion video was released and revealed the group's official name to be BXB (Boy By Brush). At the same time, their social media accounts were also updated with the new name. Later that same day, their agency confirmed the group would be debuting on January 30 as a five-member ensemble including new member June. On January 13, a teaser scheduler was revealed for their first digital single, "Intro: Flight and a New Beginning".
