I kinda agree with ya on HyunA not being in her prime years of 2011-2019 bcuz apparently I missed her Nabillera comeback when it first appeared (and maybe you did as well )

but still I'm hoping HyunA's reputation will find a way out of this cancellation somehow even if she's not gonna be as famous as she was in her bubble pop era since... well she's a 30-something who's experienced love before so she's likely able to make decisions based on her instincts without being trapped with Junhyung forever

(PS. and to digress to western music Doja Cat also once revealed a BF who'd faced abuse allegations in the past iirc but her Agora Hills song still charted pretty high and got acclaimed critically anyway... but still HyunA's in the Kpop industry so I'm unsure if she'll get the same critical reactions and charting for coming back after all this )

probably Fifty Fifty bcuz I was kinda hoping the legal issues between the three former members and Attrakt were gonna end by the time Billboard’s awards came through as there was still this part of me wanting Attrakt to let go of all four of the debuted members so they could continue promoting under a different company without having to start a 2nd gen of the group with Keena (no hate tho)

and on another note since Brave Bros produced alone (the song) I feel like he produced the other song snippet from Bora and Soyou’s teasers as well guess if he could return to his roots in YG for his 20th anniversary year by turning it into a full song for use as a Babymonster title track to be released later in 2024?

I’d say Batter Up bcuz whygee couldn’t even bother to give his NGG something fresh-sounding after 7 years of YGE not debuting another girl group post-BP and as a result I can literally envision BP or even 2NE1 singing that song (not sure about Swi.T or Big Mama tho)

cuz for those who remember 2PM originally had 7 members the way Nmixx did but ended up losing Jay Park in 2009 - similarly Haewon and friends lost Jinny after the Funky Glitter Christmas cb in 2021 2022 iirc (and also to go further back WG had 3-4 lineups throughout its active period w/ Hyuna being the first to leave the group way back when it first debuted but idk how that’d count bcuz those lineups were usually OT5/OT4 so ) so if JYP Ent forms another 7-member group in the future and it loses a member pretty early then maybe that company could be cursed somehow (special mention goes to Got7 for not losing any members while it was under JYPE and still staying strong as OT7 after all these years tho )

yeah... sorry I didn't mention pristin bcuz I just wanted to focus on the earlier groups but still Nayoung and friends would technically be Hybe's 4th Kpop GG ever imho bcuz they debuted in 2017 under Pledis - I kinda understand why people have been calling LSRFM Hybe's first GG tho bcuz they debuted the year after Hybe as a corporate entity was formed (2021 -> 2022)
