It just feels so disjointed like I can't even tell what the chorus is. The visuals in the MV are so stunning but I feel like the high budget is just to distract listeners from the fact that the song goes nowhere for a whole 2 minutes. I wish the "I am a super lady" at the beginning was the chorus. The ending was honestly terrible. I hate to say it but Wife is way more entertaining and fun to listen to than Super Lady.

Man Idle never disappoints in terms of making every release an event. Nude and Tomboy were generally mid (5 or 6 out of 10), and I gave kwinka the lowest bop ranking of a 7, but however i score them, i still always remember each and every song. That goes all the way back to Hwaa, Latata, Lion, Hann, all songs that were flops/blops, but i still remember each and every one of them. That's rare in pop these days, where i forget over half the songs i check out.
I LOVE the way this ends with the bridge/outro, i think i like the chorus drop as well...there IS a little disjointedness somewhere between the first chorus and the bridge outro. And i'm probably gonna blow a gasket when i check out the cringe English lyrics again lol.
It's gonna end up to be a 6 to 8 out of 10 for me.

A bop! I was a bit disoriented the first couple of times I heard it, it’s so different from other songs I’ve heard. It’s quite experimental but I’m loving it. The MV is amazing.
The members look exceptional. All are stunning.
In terms of the song, its like Beyonce's Run the World but with 1/2 of the musicality. Some parts were uncomfortably too high. I liked Queencard better as you could listen to it on repeat. Blop.
Most people would probably be iffy about it since the structure is different than normal. Its obvious though that its a concert song and i think they achieved that goal.

I think the song's fine, and it has growing potential. But as always it's too short and may leave an impression that it doesn't fully achieve what it tries to do. I think the song sounds better on spotify than youtube, so maybe check it out there if you're uncertain. Or maybe the MV was just toot distracting. It looks very shiny and polished but I'm not fond of the concept as a whole. It looks a little too textbook girl crush to me, not that innovative.
It seems the girls wanted to go the girl crush route all the way with this comeback, to the point it slightly becomes caricature. With that being said, I think they can't go any further with this approach, which leaves me even more curious about their next comeback.
In the meantime, give a listen to the album. It's really good. For now, my favorite track is Yuqi-composed song 'Doll'.
Blop. Its better than the last few comebacks, but still not up to snuff.
I'm disappointed
I was really hoping here for Minnie's singing but after two listens the only moment of Minnie that I remember is like rapping, talking, eh whatever
another thing is the song parts sometimes don't add up? maybe the baseline and drops would sound better on headphones on spotify version but that youtube one played on gaming monitor speakers ain't it
I got they wanted to have that grandiose big scale and it worked well but in same time it took away that part when you can cleary see that each member has own set nad story, things just moved out too fast here?!

The song is not bad, the concept & MV are really cool too i liked it.
But I think vocally it's a song maybe a little too technical and that groups with better vocals can sing this same song and make it much better in every aspect and that's what bothers me here with this song.

There's some parts that I REALLY like. This is the best (G)-idle music video to date. There are lots of cool parts to the song.
The last part needed a smoother transition because it felt so abrupt and jarring. It also could have benefitted from being 15 seconds longer. All they needed to do was repeat that final part one more time and it would have been fine. Tik Tok really has ruined the music industry with this short songs. To me, it shows that Soyeon cares a little more about following trends than creating art. It's a little frustrating because these stupid trends are preventing her from her whole potential. This could have been a 10/10 but because of some stupid compositional choices it ended up being an 8/10.

I think it's misguided criticism. Three years go, HWAA (even though longer) already had an abrupt ending which left many people shocked . And this song was anything but Tiktok bait. I think it's just the way Soyeon composes, she can't be revolutionary in every aspect, and to be honest she's not the only one in the industry. It's not like NewJeans songs were any longer.
I think it's quite unfair to say she doesn't care as much about art when there aren't a lot of idols who can be considered an artist more than her.

The Song is a bop, a little disjointed but still a banger. I wish there was a better bridge leading to the chorus. But apart from that I liked it. But a little less of a banger than Tomboy and Queencard.

Usually when I don't feel the Song with (G)I-dle I still end up liking their Music Video's, but this one was Jarring almost off-putting Visually to me
