I think this can count as a significant difference too,

group fans think Taeyong, Jihyo, and Hyunjin are a-m-a-z-i-n-g and the wall, but only about half of non-fans will put them at the top

I feel bad for not answering earlier. I assumed I had to answer for all groups and I was too lazy to do that at the time. The results are interesting. For BTS, the non-fans versus fans shocked me. For Stray Kids and BLACKPINK, it’s pretty much exactly what I expected, aside from being shocked Jennie got so little votes, but aside from that pretty much exactly what I would have thought they would be.

The it might be because non-fans would mostly watch music shows and big award stages while fans will watch also watch concert clips and special, underrated/hidden stages. Don't think Twice or Skz count as a significant difference. The same members were mentioned by both fans and non-fans in almost the same order with Jihyo and Hyunjin topping both rankings.

I considered mentioning NCT but they're in the same boat as Aespa just less extreme. Only 6 Nctzen voted. The fact that the top 3 still remained safely the same for both rankings (albeit a different order) is already pretty solid

I guess that makes sense, concerts can be much more impactful than normal performances even if you just see one, or a few clips

I know the sample size is small and the same 3 people are considered the best, but it's interesting that Jihyo, Taeyong, and Hyunjin were mentioned by almost all proclaimed fans but 50% or 66% of non-fans (the larger sample size) didn't even consider them, or could easily choose another member like Nayeon or Ten/Mark above them

BTS probably got the best sample size out of all groups. 39 users’ opinion was collected which is the second most after Itzy and since the number of fans and non-fans are almost the exact same it’s easy to compare.

I really don't think it's that serious, it's just a random poll she did out of interest for the answers in a forum. And even when conducting "real" polls, they don't gather the answer out of every person in the world. They only ask a few people.

I’m not surprised by the NCT results and I don’t think they would change with a larger NCTzen sample size. I just went back to look at last year’s 30 days of NCT best dancer question (because best dancer and best performer go hand and hand and saw similar results.) That was when we had a few more active Czennies, as well as input from non or casuals. The gap between those three members is very small, and since Mark is a main dancer in two units with double the exposure, I’m not surprised to see him leading to non-fans, while Ten is the only member actively promoting his solos on music shows and stuff, so I’m also not surprised there. (The others with solo work promote but not on music shows, which is where non fans might see them..)
