Empty house?? Next Level and Savage were released around the same time as Butter and My Universe. IU also released Strawberry Moon and a few other songs recently, SMTM dominated for half the year, BE'O, and Lee Moojin also have several songs in the top 20 as well. Just because there are not a lot of kpop idols doesn't mean it's an empty house.
This. YG literally had multiple acts (GGs, BGs, soloists, duos, etc) releasing hits for over a decade. YG was the digimon of labels.

Idk man. Brave Girls & Oh My Girl had more GAON digital points than any other SME artist in 2021.
BTS had more than all SME artists combined.
BP didn't release anything.
StayC are a "non Big 3" group. It isn't as easy for them to establish since they don't have company stans waiting for them to release something. They have to smash with their every single comeback to grow their fanbase little by little. But I don't expect you to know this since I know you're a success stan.....

Well this is logical because YG has their BGs, GGs and solos dominating the charts. But still I remember people praising more of the groups as digimons than the label. And SM has only girls dominating some what. So as a label, I don’t think SM has enough groups that can be considered a “digimon label”. Maybe in the future, who knows

If Aespa keep that up this year as well, then yes they can be considered.
Otherwise the spikes from different acts will happen constantly, these sort premature declaration from the deluded, will provide entertainment.
But Digimons well their low points tend to be higher than even spikes of other acts.

And nobody should be looking at Gaon, too easy to manipulate that, just focus on Melon.
