Do you have a problem stanning lesser popular groups?

At the moment I'm not interested in stanning any other group, successful or less popular lol but, If they and the music catch my attention enough, sure, I'm in!

lack of fan subs hurts

There is nothing wrong about stanning less successful but I can’t stan a nugu Group it’s lowkey painful to watch your favs struggling

I only Stan jyp groups

not really, if the music is good popularity doesn't matter to me

I only take issues with stanning groups I know won't get past two or three comebacks

It's also delightful when you get to see them succeed. And small successes for them hit way harder than the same milestone would for a group who debuted with a giant fanbase.

Sometimes it's kinda sad to not be able to talk with ppl here about the groups I stan. But I've come to an understanding that the groups I like are probably ones many others may not like. A lot of the popular groups I listen to and catch up on but I'm not really interested in stanning them.

I don't have a problem with it per se, it's just that there's no less popular groups I'm interested in.

Of course not. Kingdom are my ults, and while they have been pretty successful so far, they definitely aren't one of the most popular groups yet.

I have no problem stanning underdogs like soloist Yuri and Eunbi, i literally promote them every day if i can.

I don't mind stanning a not so popular group(I check out some nugu groups once in a while) if they catch my eye.

i stan groups from tiny companies all the time and then they end up disbanding or disappearing without an official disbandment and then i'm just sad lol

imo that's the only downside to liking less popular groups or groups that aren't from big companies. the success or lack of doesn't matter, but not getting content and then watching them slowly fall off the face of the earth sucks

I am a type of fan who is such a sucker for lots of content, fandom interactions and etc so it's very hard for me to stan a group when there's barely any content ( I can't feel close to the group that way) and when I have no one to talk about them with. Not only that but also, lack of english subtitles, that how groups would just randomly disappear or disband.. That's why I can't stan nugu groups

I used to stanned nugu groups but blackswan is my last nugu that I'm stanning. It was very disappointing and sad to see the groups that I used to follow like highteen, bonusbaby, O21, and many more vanished. Even now there are moments where I'm like how come they didn't put the pre order link earlier for blackswan and etc. It just that I'm so used to getting spoiled by Twice and im trying to be patient with dr music and blackswan.

Nope, I stan Secret Number who had been on a hiatus for almost an year until recently. There is definitely lack of content but I stan TWICE too so I never feel it much.

For me as long as the fandom is a great fandom to be with, I don't mind. I don't like fandoms that are too demanding to reach achievements like views and votes. I prefer fandoms that just focus on appreciating the artist or group's work.

Dreamcatcher did not have even 10m views on MVs once I start stanning them. Now I have think about stanning Majors, but I fear they are gonna disband in a year.

Success is nice but I stan groups because of the music/concept and style. That's what I enjoy about kpop not being obsessed about numbers all the time and gloating about it on social media...

no problems with that as long as I like the members and they release content...

I don’t have the bandwidth or desire to stan another group but I do like following the music of different groups - but I wouldn’t see it as a problem if I fell in love again. (Hell, I didn’t expect to stan any other group other than EXO!)

I do not have a problem as long as their music is great.

It was always easy to me literally the only very popular group i stan are aespa and it wasnt like that when they debuted anyway.

I stan the music not their success so I have no problem with it (it's the same outside of kpop to)

When I first got into kpop it was important to me that my faves were the most popular ones now that I’m a lot older that doesn’t matter to me at all anymore

Popularity is only a fun extra. I have never been initially attracted by anything other than what I think of the music. That is always the main thing.

It's mostly about the music for me, it really doesn't matter how popular a group is if I like what they are putting out. I really don't understand success stans.

Not supporting new groups is a viscous circle.. they will never have a chance of getting out of nugudom if everyone turns their back on them.

Yes and no? I don't have a problem with the group being unsuccessful but the consequences of that are hard. Never knowing if they'll disband/lose a member/add a member, lack of music, lack of content, hard to know whats going on news-wise, hard to meet/talk with other fans, watching them struggle, lack of funds = inconsistent music quality, etc.

I've stanned and been a casual fan of nugu groups in the past and they've all disbanded
