I love aespa, and I love all of their title tracks, but their bsides are so... forgettable
I've heard a good amount of their bsides at least once, and I didn't find many that I genuinely liked. A good majority of them were tolerable, but not memorable. There weren't many I found bad.
Every last aespa title track is FIRE. I can confidently say that I enjoy every single one. But, a lot of their bsides lack the same star quality and umph. I guess that's kind of the nature of bsides, but some songs felt like the producer ran out of ideas.
I could take forever describing how I feel, but to put it in simple terms, their b-sides don't sound like aespa. I could have distributed them to any other group and they could have pulled it off just as well as aespa did.
If anyone has any recommendations to get me to change my mind, I'm willing to try them out.
