It’s not taboo, people just love using PS as a drag and face shame idols.

Like 99.9% of idols have smth done, but people will still go and attack other group for being “plastic”, “botched” and etc., while their favourite idols have some work done too.

There is nothing wrong with PS, after all SK - is capital of plastic surgery, and it is deeply embedded in Korean culture and beauty standards. But it is just the way people find a way to drag idols using PS under every single post, which turns off many people from having genuine discussion about this topic.
