Has anyone not been able to listen to red velvet again after the incident?

After AOA I don't pay much attention to accusations. The "victim" admitted to already thinking bad things about Irene before they met, and after reading the statement it sounded like they were looking for a reason to take her down.

Anyway I'm more of Joy fan. And Irene apoligized twice. I think it's enough for me. It just seems a little unreasonable to me to judge her personality purely from one scandal. Humans are not white and black. There were times when Irene was nice to the employees. I saw she order food on the Level Up show. She's good leadr. I'm guessing she at least takes a break and thinks about what she did and regrets it. Of course, those who don't forgive are right. We don't owe anything for idols, if your love is over, it's over.

I have never considered unstanning Red Velvet. I kinda knew that Irene could be a grumpy diva before the scandal to be honest but I have also always thought that she could be a decent and nice person sometimes. I am sure that the scancal served as a lesson to her. She is probably not going to do that ever again since she could loose her career for real this time.

Red Velvet is a five members group and I think without being sure of course because you can never be sure about celebrities that you don't know that Seulgi, Yeri, Wendy and Joy don't have an attitude problem. I also follow a lot of Western singers who had some attitude controversies so it would be kinda hypocrite to cancel Irene and not them.

As much as I love Red Velvet members for their personalities and their bond, they are my favorite Korean girl group because their music is that good to me and they are pretty talented. The rest is secondary as long as they don't keep repeating the same mistakes or cross the line.

I went and listened to their music an extra 3 times for each track coz Irene was right.

Peak Red Velvet was maybe not the right expression but Wildside and Zoom are the epitomes of Red Velvet’s signature sound. I could list a lot of songs from them that share a similar vibe.

Peak Red Velvet being Psycho is a popular opinion and I think a valid one but I am not sure if I completely agree because their discography is very diverse. To each their own on that.

About the rest I personally don't care? I am fine with their public persona and it is not like they have much use of fan like me. I don't buy albums, I don't go on their concerts, I don't stream, I don't watch their MVs often, I watch everything that is there illegally I do nothing tbh.
