I'm proud of aespa. After the insane success of Next Level and the amazing release of Savage, they have come so far so quickly. So many people love them, and what they have done deserves all the reorganization and more. Deserved!

it's so amazing. At the beginning of the year, i was only wishing they could get ROTYs. But who could expect they will kill it this year and get major awards

no it's their 4th Daesang they started in 2018, the criteria is pretty vague based off the original description in 2018 which was "an artist who shows planning skill, performance, and producing worth noticing" and it's entirely determined by judges. So I guess to the judges aespa what the most noteworthy artist of the year, or something along those lines. But it's a big deal.

Congrats aespa! Receiving Daesang in their rookie year is really impressive, well deserved!

Not them bagging 4 awards without turning up lol queens. I’m proud to have supported these girls from day 1 when the rest of the kpop community were taking jabs at them calling them all sorts of names and insults.

Now a year later, they have a National hit, a PAK, half a million album sales and 2 daesangs and a growing and supportive fanbase both domestically and internationally. This has to be the biggest f**k you to all the haters out there, especially here on Allkpop where people were literally terrorizing aespa over the most stupidest things. Aeskarma is real y’all!
