If you could only listen to 3 K-pop groups/artists for the rest of your life, what would they be?

First two are easy: Dreamcatcher and (G)I-DLE

The last one is hard, because there are groups I really like but they don't have a ton of content, and I wouldn't want to waste a spot for only 4 songs or something. Hmm, decisions, decisions.

2. Le Sserafim (yes i know they're a new group but i have adored both mini albums and i believe they won't disappoint in the future!)

3. Probably very unpopular since they get dragged a lot for their "music", but..Itzy

I was debating for a while about whether to put Itzy or f(x) 3rd

Their discography is big and the 3 of them have a bunch of solo and unit songs along with the main discography too, so its a win

I agree with your philosophy I would just change it to BTS, Blackpink, Twice as I believe the others are all disposable

I would just give up on having a more specific preference because my preferences would change constantly anyways

Another strategy for this would be to think tho, what can't be found at all in English music or J-pop, that can only be found in these certain K-pop groups.

I am not sure but I think the following groups can all be replaced by a similar flavor of eng. pop or other languages music:

- Western: NewJeans, LSF, Shinee/U-Kiss (electronic sound), Loona/tripleS, sophisticated BGs, YG Entertainment (?)

- Japanese/anime: Kep1er, IZ*ONE, Twice, bright/happy GGs, Dreamcatcher

you can have at least 1 to follow for the next 7 years, not just repeat their tracks you already know and like

99 percent of my kpop playlist is SHINee and their solos to begin with

BTS alone would be enough tbh, they have so many songs with so many genres to fit my mood..

I presume you mean three active groups - if I go back to Gen 2 I would have a very hard time picking only three. Gen 4, on the other hand....I can't really think of three.
