Giant bop. NewJeans continues to squash all opposition.
As a big SNSD fan at the time, I didn't "get" Twice when they first came up. Took me quite a while to start appreciating them. But I get this group.
NewJeans has that same ability SNSD and Twice had to just forcibly turn the K-Pop world's eyes their way and say, "Hey! We're IT!"

Sure, but this one anywhere near Beverly Hills would be more like $50 million USD.

I swear Drew can make a Thread about any random thought he has and it will get a Hundred replies
AllKpop should be paying him
He has a gift for making female posters want to jump in and correct his opinions. Now he just needs to figure out how to get them to pay him for the privilege.

I think the main problem that if they will start using USD now
then people from US could buy lot of land, property and all that in Argentina
because the prices would be 'small' for them
Argentina should somehow think how to rebuild themselves first
Adopting the US dollar won't make any difference in relative wealth between citizens of the two countries. The idea is to stabilize the currency, stop inflation, and prevent Argentinian politicians from misusing currency expansion to secure political support.
Naturally, the old Peronistas hate this idea, since that was the core of their political platform for many decades.
The only problem is that US politicians are doing the same thing with the dollar, so Argentina may just be postponing the inevitable. If Milei really wants to freak out the looters he should introduce a gold-backed currency - which might attract investors from all over the world who are seeking stability. Taking away the politicians' ability to loot the productive capacity of the nation though currency manipulation could quickly make Argentina wealthy again, and return it to the status it had in the 1920's when it was considered one of the great up-and-coming nations of the world.

...these girls aren't going anywhere for a long time...
You may have unintentionally spoken a great truth.

2. Blackpink are the peak of western success in kpop. Not a single fave will EVER match up to it. Once Blackpink breaks up, we'll see a slow decline in kpop. 3rd in general were the peaks, now absolutely nothing 4th gen can do will top the achievements set by 3rd gen.
5. Babymon are the definition of everything wrong with kpop. 13 year olds with weak talent, rapping about how "badass" they are, like your from Asia not the bronx. Stay in school.
6. Itzy has the worst discography out there. Plus Ryujin isn't as talented as people make her out to be, she's simply charming. Her vocals are weak, rapping is cringe, and her performance is good but in a group where they are amazing performers already she doesn't particularly stand out. If it wasn't for her "uwu girl crush" look, y'all would be coming for her throat for her lack of talent same way you do with Lia (at least Lia can semi carry a note )
5) and 6) are gospel truth, but 5) competely negates 2). 5) are just 13-year-old versions of 2) - and of the original BP clones described in 6).
BlackPink almost destroyed K-Pop - and they are about to walk away with their evil deeds going completely unpunished.
The NewJeans era gives me hope that some K-Pop companies are finally realizing they need to part ways with all of these little Baby Monstrosities and get back to the grace, femininity, and vocal talent that characterized Gen 2.

Stg I went to Aldi earlier and a carton of eggs that used to be 1.09 usd is now like 2 dollars man wtf
People are getting what they voted for. This is how much all of that free stuff - paid for by borrowing, spending, and destroying the currency - really costs. Enjoy it - the ride up has barely begun.

Kim Garam is still looking for a job.

There is always a member or two in a group that just seems to have a special light about them - to you. It isn’t always the most physically attractive or the most talented, it’s just the one you can’t take your eyes off of.
Works the same way in real life.

Gen 4/5 K-Pop music is totally Western and the younger idols all dress and act like little kids.
The big companies want cash by copying past successes and they remain terrified of #MeToo, so almost everything new is bland and uninteresting.

Umm…married men don’t “hang out” with single women. Usually, we avoid them like the plague.

A good object lesson in what believing hysteria on your television leads to.

None of them are great. Crescent City is very cold and foggy, and has big-time earthquake and tsunami risks.
Low prices in the USA almost always come with high crime.

Yes - Super Shy in a Walmart in Arizona. It surprised me.

I had a weird thought that if I got really muscular, then men would find me scary and not that attractive. (because I feel like I'm too pretty)
Only other women would ever tell you that you are "too pretty" - and not for legitimate reasons.
Look at men who are tall and muscular themselves, like pro athletes and MMA fighters. Then look at the wives and girfriends the majority of them choose. You will discover that polarity is the key to attraction.
Though it is probably impossible for you to ever look like you could carry an elephant (you would have had to start training very young) going further than someone like Jutta in Bartkun's picture above will not be an advantage.

Weird af to you westerners that are 109% used to multiculturalism.
It is self-evident that multiculturalism doesn't work in the West, either. But vast amounts of money and effort are being expended to pretend it does, because the elites think it sounds good.
If I were getting a job in, say, Japan, I would have to learn enough Japanese to communicate at a conversational level, learn what behaviors and styles of dress the locals find offensive, and learn how to work in a productive, cooperative way with Japanese citizens. If I failed to do these things I would not expect to be allowed to stay very long.
National borders are cultural barriers. Taiwan has the perfect right to insist that those who wish to cross its borders to work are able to fit into its culture.
