    1. What "they were always expensive"? I went to Hanaro Mart and the prices were insane. You don't feel the reality? That's why they raise the price...ㅋㅋㅋ what a joke..

    2. Tomatoes are over 10,000 won nowadays... Those tomatoes are probable 12,300 wonㅋㅋㅋ they said that the leaks were 3,000 won so that leaves 10,000 won to the garlic..ㅜ

    3. This is seriously f*cking expensive

    4. Yah, to the kids who are saying that they were always expensive, just look at this item by item on Numbeo
We have the world's most expensive apples (T/N: there were recent news about the overwhelming prices of apples lately. Some observed apples being sold for 90K+ won for 10 kg)
We have the world's most expensive oranges
We have the world's 6th most expensive milk
We have the world's 2nd most expensive tomatoes
We have the world's 7th most expensive rice
We have the world's most expensive potatoes
We have the world's 7th most expensive lettuce
We have the world's most expensive bananas
We have the world's 2nd most expensive onions
We have the world's 2nd most expensive red meat (beef, etc)

It's this bad and you're claiming that they were always expensive?ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ And we consider eggs being a deal because we're 31st in the world

    5. Wow the prices are just insane

    6. I knew that tomatoes were expensive but how much are the garlics? That's around 15,000 won no?

    7. To the people saying they were "always" expensive, don't they think that this is weird?

People are getting what they voted for. This is how much all of that free stuff - paid for by borrowing, spending, and destroying the currency - really costs. Enjoy it - the ride up has barely begun. ¬‿¬

the Koreans seem to forgot that they have more than 50M people in land mass of just 100 210 km²...

they have sea access but in same time none of road/train access to other countries due to North Korean border being a blockage since ages...

i still remember when they compared apple price to Sweden and were shocked that in Korea apples cost much more xD

but in Sweden there is 5 times less people than in SK

still overall comparing this to Korea similar basket of groceries in Poland would cost 17-18 USD, which = 25000 Won, so where you compare it like that the difference is big, it's 15k Won on such small basket so if you would do bigger shopping then I can't even imagine how big that difference would be
