Is this purely a popularity ranking or success because if it is success then it would be Twice and BP along with GG in SS tier. 2NE1 and wonder girls with Kara in the tier below and everyone else far below that

Well then this is quite ridiculous. I would put Twice on a level with BP but even if not doing that how are they on the same level with Aespa and the rest when the gap between Twice and Aespa is almost as large as Twice and BP and Aespa has comeback way recently than both groups. Twice also has way better touring numbers and potential than any group outside of BP and BTS. How in the hell would you justify putting BP in their own tier but not putting Twice with them or in a tier of their own at least.

Aespa has like 2 songs that have ever outcharted Twice digitally. It is True that they had a strong 2021 but 2020, Twice did better than them. It is way to soon to say that Aespa is considerably better than Twice in digitals and this is only accounting for Korea, internationally Twice is way stronger.
Album sales..... Twice hasn't even released their album yet since novmeber 2021 when they outsold Aespa. Now it could be possible they won't sell as much as Aespa now, but it won't be by a huge margin. Twice dominates them on touring. Public relevance? come on.

I mean, Im not really here to talk about BTS or BP, my argument purely is if you think BP is on another level than Twice that fine, however how can you think that but not also put Twice at least above everyone else when the numbers separating BP and twice are about similar to what separates twice from every other girl group. Also, according to you, Aespa is stronger than BP album sales wise because their last album outsold BP's The Album. your logic false on almost every metric.

while you ranking is better than OPs - imo its too early to rank groups like ive, le sserafim or new jeans. We'll have to see how they do with subsequent comeback because the Korean gp can be fickle .
Also it's hard for me to accept that itzy is a tier below g-idle, or ive - they have a large loyal fanbase even when their songs may not hit they still have that interest

True, itzy is harder, they are a top group, they will chart top 10 - top 5.
But they don't seem to have that extra to get them a #1 song in the charts.
But yes, I can see them at the top of tier 3 or at the bottom of tier 2.

Whether it's 1 song being streamed 100 times or 100 songs streamed 1 time, it's the same, it's stil x amount of minutes the world has spent enjoying a specific artist.

That one song sits at #1 for weeks. The perception is that Blackpink puts out “better music” because it charts higher, but in reality its probably the same quality music, but the focus on one song making it out stream every other song makes it look more popular because each person counts for more streams for that song.

True, I was just thinking of it from a total stream count point of view since the response to your comment suggested the stream count was only higher because there were more songs. Since time is a limited resource and you can't listen to more than 1 song at a time per person, then total number of songs in one's discography does not significantly affect total stream.
But as you said from a charting and positional point of view, yes I agree, more songs = less concentrated streams. It's the reason why some groups don't chart as well sometimes when they release full albums vs single releases. -
