Do people still consider NMIXX's song O.O to be bad?

IMO

I still enjoy it
It just doesn't have the same replay factor that i thought it would have at first

Yes, still tragic

I just listened to it again. Still don't like the starting parts shoog shoog. My favourite part is from sullyoon's line cuz everything is fake to lily's line let me be your super hero. It also feels like instrumental is louder than their voices. Lily's voice sound muffled but she is a powerful singer.

you honestly have to be blind to not see people are still shitting on it.
I feel like the most common sentiment is that people like the girls and see so much potential because of their talent, but can't bring themselves to stanning since their debut was terrible so they hope JYP can do better for their cb.

I dont really follow Kpop individuals on any site anymore. I dont use this site as much as I did in 2018~2019. I knew it was poorly received as I looked into it at the time but was more curious at if attitudes have changed.
IDK I think their debut showed their talents pretty well. Though I do agree when compared to recent releases from groups like Ive and Aespa it can be overshadowed. Also im tired of these groups debuting with these small ass albums. Just release a 6~7 song mini album at least especially if you are going to have a song which they must have known was not going to be exactly conventional.

I still don't like it. I still can't get myself to listen to it fully after I tried numerous times before. I only get to listen to it randomly in YouTube shorts and the likes but even then, the "shoog shoog" and "baila baila" still throws me off. I still cringe hearing those parts. Additionally, the shout singing style going on in the entire song is really not my cup of tea.

Yeah I'm not arguing about if the song shows their talent or not because that's not important nor the point I'm making.
Not saying this is the case all the time, but I think for a lot people, they don't really care if the song shows their "talent", if they hate it from the getgo, they won't give it a chance I think listenable music takes priority over talent.
People want songs that they like that also utilizes their skills.

Honestly, it's kind of odd that we keep getting surprised comments about people not liking the song.
Like, for me personally, O.O went from bad to just okay, but honestly, of the debuts this year, it impressed me the least. I do like the NMIXX girlies and hope they get something better.
This isn't targeted at OP in particular because yeah they said they don't visit AKP enough to gauge a reaction so a bit of curiosity is fine, but at the same time... idk people comment on this topic a lot with "oH wElL tHiS sOnG iS wOrSt AcTuaLlY" or "tHiS sOnG iSn'T tHaT bAd bEcAuSe klasfjlsdfj" or some other kind of dismissal.
Like maybe O.O has become a bit of a punching bag or easy target but also... people just don't like things and that's okay? Why are some of y'all being so weird about it?
Like, don't get me wrong, growing does happen, but it's okay if it doesn't happen every time. That's normal lol.
