hey, how are you?
sure
hey, how are you?
I love their music im so excited!
Down is a masterpiece
I wouldn't say Down is a masterpiece since Before U Go was a better pre-release but It's still a good 'appetizer' and so I can't wait to listen to the full album - the teasers sound good
cute, I remember they did a similar Etude collab in the early 2010s
not sure yet
of what?
It's true I haven't seen a lot of people talk about ay yo and new emotions even though both were great songs
From your list I also liked Get a Guitar and Perfume, and the entire My World album is so good, it is one of my most played albums of the year
The MY World mini is my second fave mini that was released this year
NCT will always release the song of my life after one I dilike or don't like that much - It's been like that since 2018 for me. But this year they were really consistent
the infinite taste yessss
the discography is immaculate
Oh Ayo is the most underrated song ever its a banger
the rest of the list i am not exactly a fan of though
What would be your favorite song of the year?
You have good taste I've never seen anyone actually like Shalala thought
thanks I know right? Shalala it's a weird song but I think It fits Taeyong's style perfectly
Whats your favorite song of the year?
This year has been underwhelming, so underwhelming that It is probably the first year since I have known Kpop (2016) that the genre isn't my most listened to. But with that said, these to me are the 10 titletracks that at least made me feel something this year:
10 | INFINITE NEW EMOTIONS
this is how you make a long awaited comeback!! The song might not be as 'strong' as their titletracks made by Sweetune, but It is still a nice, well-made piece of music
that highlights Infinite's strenghts.
9 | TRIPLES CHERRY TALK
It's a cute nice tune, It's catchy
8 | RIIZE GET A GUITAR
I love how easy to listen to it is and I also love the funky dance break. It might not be at Replay's level in terms of "chill" debut songs, but it's good
7 | TAEMIN GUILTY
He did it again! The song is amazing just as the performance
6 | AESPA SPICY
It's a well made song
5 | TAEYONG SHALALA
In a year where almost every song feels boring, this one is at least out of the box and fun. It shouldn't work yet it does to me - but I understand It might not be
everybodys cup of tea
4 | KWON EUNBI THE FLASH
Very elegant, nice chorus, very 3rd gen
3 | THE BOYZ LIP GLOSS
The Boyz might be the boy group that made the best title songs this year: all of their titletracks were amazing this year but Lip Gloss is probably my favorite
2 | NCT DOJAEJUNG PERFUME
NCT's best unit debuted this year with a zero-skip album and the titletrack, Perfume, It's the cherry on top
1 | NCT 127 AY Yo
This song is a drug that I won't ever quit - It got released at the beginning of the year and I still listen to it multiple times every day
YG ent has been releasing 2013-4 demos/rejects for at least the last 4 years
I wasn't active because for some reason I had problems with even entering the site (idk why) I don't have a Spotify wrapped but I can say that even If Hard is my least favorite album, I have streamed Satellite, 10x and Juice a lot. A SHINee releated thought: I would like to get a repackage album the next year (and I also would like for Taemin to perform at Tokyo Dome solo for the longest time...)
Maybe it's a bit off topic but it is very weird that the Melon youtube channel has posted all the performances of the night except for the SHINee's 'Hard' performance were they sang live (like they just posted the first half of their stage were they perform their older songs wtf?)
It feels like YG's sound and style has become a parody of itself
I tend to be type 2
I like that it is less 'pop' and more artistic, I like every song of is of course, but I think he is at the right point of his career to take a step like this one
