I. Introduction
NCT DoJaeJung is a Korean boy band and a permanent sub-unit of NCT. NCT is unique among K-Pop groups due to the fact that the concept of NCT was originally an ever expanding group with "unlimited" members and is comprised of several individual subunits. The NCT DoJaeJung unit is a mini sub-unit featuring 3 members of the sub-unit NCT 127: Doyoung, Jaehyun and Jungwoo. The group focuses heavily on a mature, sensual, R&B-infused style.

III. Career
NCT DoJaeJung was formed as a special member unit during the world concert tour of NCT sub-unit NCT 127. During the Neo City the Link tour, members debuted special solo performances. For special concerts at Jamsil Stadium, the group debuted two mini units of members, including this group, which featured main vocalist Doyoung, main vocalist/lead dancer Jaehyun and lead vocalist/lead dancer Jungwoo.
Known by fans as DoJaeJung - a combination of their names in age order - the group's performance of the new song "Can We Go Back?" drove attention and excitement. The group reassembled for a special holiday cover medley, now also called DoJaeJung by the company, on Dec. 23, 2022, and photo shoot with digital vlog for the NCT channel for Christmas Day as a gift to the fans.
Based on the group's popularity, they reappeared, again referenced as DoJaeJung, performing "Can We Go Back?" for the New Year's Gayo on MBC.
In March 2023, the group was officially announced as first official fixed member unit and first fixed NCT U unit, although members later clarified they were not a NCT U unit. It was also announced they were preparing a new album. The debut mini, Perfume, released on April 17 with the promotions incorporating the title concept with custom fragrances created by the members in content and album packaging. The album debuted as the highest Kpop sub-unit first week sales in Hanteo history. They also became the fastest NCT unit to earn a music show win and the only unit to debut in the top songs of the Circle (Gaon) Chart. Promotions were temporarily halted for a week while Jaehyun recovered from illness, although Doyoung and Jungwoo continued to promote.

- Doyoung and Jaehyun performed in the predebut group SM Rookies together and were MCs together pre-debut.
- Doyoung and Jaehyun were in the very first NCT unit, NCT U, on the first NCT song, "The 7th Sense."
- Jaehyun debuted in a fixed unit first, as part of NCT 127 in 2016. Doyoung debuted in the group in 2017 and Jungwoo in 2018.
