I don't think it will make a difference. Promote kpop in Japan is a lost cause, and its especially more so for GG. At least Boy Groups can have decent sale where GGs chance of getting decent sale and somewhat relevent is nonexistent.
At this point, I would recommend Kpop groups go into the western market rather then Japan where the chance of getting success is way higher. Western market mean songs or album in English where you are not contrain by one singular market like Japan.
