Mamamoo's music and visuals and stage presence ( Great vocals tho )
Irene's dancing ( she's not bad but nearly every lead dancer is better imo )
Hyuna Edwan couple ( wayyy too much PDA )

I just don't understand the hype around these group, i can understand for some groups even if i don't like their song but for these group i don't understand why they get this hype. I don't understand that they are as popular while others are doing the same or better and never had half of their popularity.
So I tell myself that it is something that is beyond me and that I have become a boomer

The truth bomb with the Oh My Girl one Jesus Christ someone said it! Don't get me wrong, I love dun dun dance and their recent albums, but Nonstop and Real love just aren't it. I still love Oh My Girl though!

BTS obviously. Not that they dont deserve their success in terms of how hard they worked, we all know the stories about what they had to go through and overcome. But when it comes to the actual music, they are way overhyped, and i'm being generous here.
I think many in Korea specifically support them cause they bring national pride to them via their accomplishments, not because of their actual songs.

Nmixx are very talented tho it's rare to find gps that are great in both dancing and singing
Personally, they never impressed me and I think everyone says that because they are from a BIG3 agency and the idols of these agencies are the most popular. Each time a new group from these agencies debuts, they become "the best singer", "the best dancer", "the best rapper".
But maybe it's me too who missed something about this band, i will give it a chance with their next album

Just compare a song like Dynamite to a song like Next Level, Lovesick Girls, or Cry For Me. There is no comparison here, like one isnt even in the same stratosphere in terms of song quality as the other three.
BTS has three elite songs (BWL, Mic, Magic), several great ballads (LGO, Heartbeat), a few other decent hits (BS, PTD, Dope) but for a group with over 200 songs that has amassed so many records and accomplishments...the discography just isnt there to back them up. I could name like 25 songs by nugu/mid tier artists that deserve all the accolades that Dyna got, but will be left discarded since the groups dont have the fame that BTS has.

Did you even listen their discography? Tear is an amazing album they have their hits or miss but they have a solid discography.

i dont rlly like any of their songs and their stages are too boring for me to be interested in them.
i know shes talented and loved her in ioi but i dont think ive liked any of her solo releases except for gotta go. all her other songs, i either disliked or were way too generic/forgettable.
i find her voice interesting and i think she's funny but i dont rlly like any song put out by her, even nuna nana. the only one that was alr was cold blooded
this isnt really a group/idol but i feel like every single kpop collab with a western artist gets hyped up so much when its probably the worst song in the kpop artist's discography. like they'll release straight bops and then u go look at their western collabs and they're so mediocre/bad. and ofc the only collab song that i acc liked (jason derulo, lay and nct's shut up and dance) got no hype
I never understood the Chungha hype, in particular her dancing skills. I've seen pros go crazy over her but i just dont see it.

Treasure. Their songs aren't for me at all. I've seen some clips of them on variety shows and they're funny but other than that they're not that interesting to me as a group
