[BTS CONTENT] Will we get a normal priced, four version album for BTS' 2022 comeback?

Yeah it can happen.

2 or 3 versions will be ok too imo. As long as it's normal priced...

i'm thinking they may do that or

maybe 2 normal kpop vers (ie with all the stuff inside it) + 2 CD vers (where its just the CD ie a jewel case i guess).

i just hope the price is better

hopefully with UMG it should at least be slightly better in Europe

'BE' is a special album which is the first in BTS' career. 'Butter' is a single CD which again is the first in BTS' career. 'Dynamite' is also the first BTS English single.

What I'm trying to say is that everything BTS released since MOTS7 was unplanned. They didn't want to release their next album during this pandemic because they already couldn't tour with MOTS7 which is heartbreaking for someone like BTS who make music because they love to do it, they love to perform for the fans.

With this announcement of new chapter, I think we are getting back on track. I think so mainly because of the song 'Permission to Dance'. 'The Beginning of new era' newspaper, the lyrics of the song especially the chorus, "we don't permission to dance", all point towards BTS accepting that this is how things are going to be from on and that doesn't mean we should stop enjoying the things that we love to do. I mean this is how I interpreted the events.

All in all yeah I think the next BTS album will be regular album. I have a feeling this is gonna be BTS' best album. Very highly anticipating it

i saw a twitter post from a European Army saying that prices of bts albums went down in local stores after their switch to UMG. not sure if its true but if thats the case then maybe the more expensive price tag had to do with distribution?

I think they'll do atleast 3 versions. You know what would really work? 2 normal priced versions, 1 deluxe version like with BE where all the pcs and stuff was in one album (cause it saved pc collectors a shit ton of money honestly). One CD ver and one (or two) vinyl formats. Manifesting.

I mean BE did insane number for having very expensive deluxe version and 1 normal version (and no cheap version), but I think that they will go back to the 4 versions

Smh that "Deluxe" version still annoys me. HYBE definitely has a tendency to get too cute sometimes. They just have to play what works, and what works is a few different versions of a normally priced album.

The deluxe version was really nice, great for collectors (saved a lot of money for them). They just should release a cheaper version at the same time

Oh for sure. I'm not mad at them producing it, just for only producing that version. Like how can you have a deluxe version without a standard version?

And while collectors are saving money, all non-collectors essentially have to pay for two copies so it balances out for them.

I mean BE could of been BTS idea.. (which is very likely) to release one version with everything in it as a box set as oppose to multiple versions.

Pricing was then set by contents, weight etc.
