I'm talking about single albums, EP's, and albums released.

If a 4th gen girl group is not on my ranking, it means I haven't listened to an album of theirs this year. Or I simply forgot to include them, sorry.

Groundbreaking rookies debuting with a fresh sound and concept IVE of course.

I think I initially noticed the "4th gen" part in the question, then when I went and watched a quick summary Video of Girl Group songs in 2021 to refresh my memory I forgot that part and focused on the "this year" part instead

It's (G)I-DLE hands down. I Burn is one of the best album this year. And their solo work are really good too.

If I consider only groups with multiple releases this year, I'd say PIXY, TRI.BE and Purple Kiss in that order.

4. StayC (stereotype is my favorite girlgroup song from this year but other than that I don't really listen to them)

Weeekly bc After School is one of my fave title tracks of 2021

I BURN from Idle and Temptation by Pixy. No skips, no weak or filler songs for me. Both have tracks in my top 5 of the entire year and that Pixy album has Bewitched which is my SOTY.

okay not to be too cliche but; Next Level by Aespa. I think the music sound familiar but unfamiliar at the same time and it also fits their “AE” concept so well.

I really like After School by Weeekly and We Go by Fromis_9 but I haven't checked their bsides and didn't like their next title tracks as much as the previous ones
