[RANT]JYPE (The Company) sucks Div3 too

Where are the teasers and stocks JYPE

I am so sick of them. Seeing things like this makes me wonder why anyone would want TWICE to renew with them. The company gives them little to no solo promotions (such as sending them to variety shows, acting debuts etc). One would think they manage their group activities very well to make up for it but they can't seem to do that properly as well. Like, how can you not even prepare a sufficient amount of albums for your TOP group who have previously sold 500k+ three times in a row?

It's honestly very disappointing cause TWICE has tons of potential but they aren't getting anywhere due to their lackluster management. Just today, you had the team of Prada sending Sana gifts and have been doing so for months but nothing came out of it. Same as Nayeon x LV. Nayeon was announced as the new face of Biotherm but no article was released to confirm it. The most the members can do is to release Melody Projects or Instagram CFs (Tzuyu x Crocs, Nayeon x Chaumet) while their peers are branching out into acting and solo debuts.

wow someone can actually differentiate between JYPE the company and J.Y.Park

jyp is a terrible company and always has been. TWICE are by miles the most successful group they have or will ever have. The only group that has managed long term relevance in Korea, the only one they had capable of blowing up in Japan and dominating and the only one capable of charting in the usa and united kingdom.

But what do jyp do with all that? Consistently call them cash cows, underplay their success and show 0 ambition for growth. 3 days of no stock is absolutely dreadful especially since the album has been out of stock multiple times in multiple stores. Jyp decided 500,000 is enough sales for a 6 year old group and shows no ambition to do anything to raise that.

Onces we need to get your shit together because things will do not change if you don’t do something

I am saddened by the way they treat their employees twice, I hope twice doesn't renew their contract

Twice is 4k group with 144p company.

It's been obvious from the jump that JYP doesn't value them or any of their artists outside of cashcow purposes

it's so frustrating to watch. jype groups always get the bare minimum and then are thrown aside.

twice has so much potential for further growth but over and over again jype fails them. if i'm being honest, i don't want them to renew. even if twice ends and the girls have to go their separate ways, i would rather they have unlimited support with new companies than feel forced to stay with jype so twice doesn't have to disband. they're treated like cash cows, onces are milked to the point where even j-onces are pissed off, still no solo promotions, cheap mvs (plagiarism scandals!!!), cheap treatment, it's ridiculous

Worse is more and more is like 4-5 thou off 600,000 but out of stock on ktown4u, synarra and withdrama and hasnt been sold on twices shop in over a year. How.

Not aimed at you OP as we've discussed this many times before - but auto-pilot/poor management has been going on for a a long time. But most fans didn't care as Twice were still on top and didn't want to think in the medium to long term. Back in 2018/19 when I'd post about lacklustre management and the need for something different fans didn't want solo promos, they didn't want variety in group activities. They were topping the charts and selling the most by doing what they've done since their debut year. The management didn't need to be creative or put much thought into the group. The Cheer Up and TT momentum sorted Twice out for a long time.

But there is a lag in the impact of the lack of action from JYPE with the group. Now that Twice have been surpassed/caught in multiple aspects as early Twice momentum wore off/the company actually needed to think more creatively and failed, a lot of fans want to harp on about bad management now.

Barely anything has changed in the last 3/4 years by management, the main difference is Twice aren't on top anymore. If Twice were selling the most still fans wouldn't care about out of stock albums. If they were topping Melon they wouldn't care about promotions. Accounts like Twice charts have only perpetuated that thinking over the years.

You know twice can break 1m sales in one album. The problem is they keep releasing japanese and korean album back to back with merch back to back

this I feel like some fans really did just want group promos like even rv still topping the charts top 3 almost I think individual promos help them too. That’s the weakness of twice no solo promos in korea. Snsd did it with 9 members why can’t twice
