Really it doesn't matter now who is ahead. What matters is where they are at in 2 years time. Both are main contenders.
imo don't even waste your time looking at Korean charts, because the rest of the world has totally different tastes.
2 years is a long time and anything can happen. Some or all of BM, Aespa, LSF and NJ will be massive.

Aespa is higher. Three #1 hits on Melon trumps everything else. LSRFM hasnt quite managed to breakthrough with an era defining hit like Next Level, their most impressive feat is actually their B side Bluebeard charting to number 2 on Melon. I think that's the best performance of a B side since Forever Young.

i mean its easy to work ur mind, its a collab with overwatch, they even played it with gamers, u can say its got popular cuz hybe promoted the shit out of it, it was smart to collab with streamers. Aespa didnt thats the difference.

aespa only did a special performance of Better Things on Mcountdown. Unlike lesserafim which go to all music shows to promote like a comeback. (Better thing did rise on chart after that, so promo does help charting)

I think the answer to this is not definitive. Each song of Le Sserafim rises to the charts over time, but they stay for a long time. They are very successful in this regard, but they do not have hits like Next Level yet. That's why it's not clear. Le sserafim more trendy i think.
Which group has better touring numbers?
Internationally for sure.. Perfect Night got to number 20 in Billboard Bubbling Under (I think only BTS, BP, Fifty2 and newjeans ever achieved this). Plus they charted on both types of Spotify Global 200 as well. And Canadian Hot 100, Japan’s etc.
Korea.. well I think aespa is still a smidge bit well known compared to LSFM. But they did have a crazy viral song with anti fragile. Maybe in time, they will surpass aespa.

Perfect night got the support of the big community of overwatch player that's why it's doing so well internationally and in korea
Just like kda thanks to league of legends community did better internationally than any of gidle title track did internationally in the past
And as for korean charting
Aespa charted in the top 70 for few weeks because they did a special performance on 1 music show to promote the song, then everything else was just challenge
And did one performance at GMA to promote it in the usa
And then went back to touring
Lesserafim have been promoting this special single as a real comeback, appearing in music bank, npop, inkigayo, the choom, mtv, blizzcon etc...
Both groups clearly didn't put the same energy in trying to make their special single chart

Hmmm I’d still put them on the same tier. LSFM don’t have any breakout hit and their highs not as high as aespa. Internationally in terms of casual interest ofc LSFM is higher than Aespa but fandom wise even internationally I’d say aespa is still higher.
So it all balances out and makes them the same tier.
Even without a National hit, people still put both Aespa and LSFM in the same tier. That just shows how fast LSFM growth has been and how undeniably their strengths are. I would say in two years LSFM will definitely surpass Aespa in Korea and internationally. HYBE just has better promotion and international reach.
I agree with the people saying they have similar amount of succes. Le SSERAFIM is more casual interest so they have potential to be bigger while aespa has more fans atm

I think the user is trying to say ssera songs longevity is not that good, whcih is true to some extent. Unforgiven is #50 on melon daily chart now, compared to IVE, aespa, GIDLE the longevity is kinda bad BUT eve is at top30 so kinda make it up i guess ...

Le Sserafim may have more digital power (even that is questionable since they haven’t had as much #1 hits) but Aespa’s fandom power is much more solid, they have the best sales for any 4th gen girl group.

It's crazy that Savage got PAK but only spent 11 weeks on top 100
Guessing it's due to the hype of releasing after Next Level, but it's overall longevity isn't that great for a PAK song. There are songs which didn't hit that high became major hits. It depends on the songs and how much public likes it.
