1a) Gidle - love their latest comeback/album. Their discography is very solid and they just won’t go away. Soyeon is a genius.
1b) Aespa - didn’t like spicy, was my fav gg 2021-2022.
1c) Le Serrafim - amazing performers, love their sexy concepts. They have the “it” factor.
1d) IVE - great songs, very talented & well-rounded group.
5) Itzy - the last few comebacks have been meh for me. JYP always lets me down.
6) Nmixx - like them, but they still haven’t had the huge hit.
7) Newjeans - arguably the most talented, but it’s not my style as they sound and act so young to me. I prefer more up tempo/harder music. If I was caught listening to “super shy” by my Bros they would look at me like “wtf”. A lot of their music to me is geared toward middle school girls. I’m an older male fwiw.

2. aespa - their latest releases were not my taste but i still love the members and illusion clears pretty much every other song by any gg. And their aesthetic is the coolest
3. Le sserafim - i like their music and theyre charismatic
4. Nj - they have good music, the members are nice and their aesthetic is gorgeous. But i need cuntier music and i find some of their stuff quite boring. Also mhj
5. G idle - they have a solid discography, the best concepts and styling. The members are very skilled. But something about them doesnt appeal to me that much
6. Itzy - i wish i could like them but i cant stand their music, with some exceptions. Something about the way they sing. Their bsides are good though. I like the members and their choreos
7. Nmixx - surprisingly i really like this group. But i pretty much only know sullyoon and lily. Also their songs are not something i listen on repeat. Jyp is doing a disappointing job with them. Theyre very talented though.

Sad theres no Stayc option. I digress,
1. NewJeans- What a breath of fresh air to get kpop music that is genuinely listenable these days. Adorable members too.
2. Lesserafim- +points for containing 1/6 of IZ*ONE, +points for having a consistent sound and concept and delivering it well (lot to ask of kpop groups these days)
3. IVE- Wonyoung. Need I explain? (also +points for containing 1/6 of IZ*ONE)
4. NMIXX- HATED their music upon debut and overall neutral on these girls save for being perplexed and frustrated by JYPs continually sh*tty creative direction. However I've recently seen the light on how talented the members are. Like for sure they most overall talented on this list.
5. Aespa- They've been good, but I'm waiting for them to be great
6. Gidle- Not that impressed. Thought they were mediocre since La-ta-ta
7. ITZY- JYP really are miracle workers, they managed to take some of the most charismatic performers in kpop and create a group so so tacky it's astonishing

1. Itzy - duh. They are in my top 3 kpop groups. Love their music, love all the members, especially a certain one.
2. LSF - very quickly going up my ranks, like most of their music, and the members seem fun. Can't/won't go to actually stanning them yet cause Eunchae and age etc etc
3. IVE - Really like all their title tracks, didn't like Kitsch but honestly, besides Gaeul... the members seem boring to me.
Bit of a gap
4 (tie). Aespa - I still don't like their pre 2023 stuff, but the stuff from this year is GREAT. I don't really vibe enough with the members to be interested much beyond their newer music though
Idle - I love a lot of their earlier music, from the Soojin days, but for me the seem to have lost something (not just Soojin). Their newer stuff is fine but I just don't feel it much.
Big gap, and a trip to Taco BellPoo tier. Nmixx - their earlier music sucked so much ass that I just don't care.
NewJeans - I tried. I've tried giving everyone of their releases a chance because of their huge hype and its just not for me. It's downright sleep inducing. I don't hate the group members at all, they seem nice, but the music is just not at all for me or my tastes. It's the Ed Sheeran of kpop.

Aespa - I love everything they released so far, their title track fit my style and their bside are really strong and have a lot of diversity
Lesserafim - very close to aespa, i love their songs, i'm still replaying theeir debut song till this days, their songs have such a replay value, and their bside are also very good
Gidle - I've always liked what they have been doing since their debut, i don't really care about their bside, i never heard any of their bside who made me think i want to replay this song, but their title track were always solid ( if we act like Nxude never existed)
but i've been much more into them since Tomboy era, they are bringing something new to the gg that they didn't have in the past
Itzy - whatever what people think i actually always love and replay itzy songs ( like Gidle let's act like Sneakers never happened), they always release solid title track my only problem is their bside for me, i find them weak
IVE - they are pretty much in the same case than Itzy, i like their title track, not so much theiir bsides beside 1 or 2 songs
New Jeans - In all honesty, if this thread was made before their comeback i would put them in #3, i'm obsess with their debut EP, Hype boy is literally in my playlist to work out and my playlist to go to work, Ditto was so perfect too
but their comeback EP was such a big disappointement and a big downgrade compare to what they did in the past that's why they are so low now
NMIXX - maybe my biggest let down of this month, same than NJWS their ranking would have been so much higher 1 or 2 months ago, I'm obsess with their Mixxpop songs like O.O and Dice
Love me like this was already a little disappointment because they give up on the mixpop sound, but i warm up to the song and i'm obsess with it now
but Party o'clock and Roller coaster were so boring and bland that i don't even remember anymore how they sound

Soojin was my bias in (G)I-DLE so I lost interest in the group once she was removed but before that, they were my hands down fave. I like Le Sserafim (still waiting on their "big hit" song tho) and I would say NewJeans has my favorite discography/concepts among all the groups on this list. IVE has cute bops and although I don't really care for Aespa's more recent songs, Ning Ning and Winter's vocals are definitely stan-worthy. Kepler's first album, first impact, is fantastic, chef's kiss, etc but after that they just fizzled out for me (I do like Up and Back to the City tho)
I don't listen to any of the other groups listed. Never cared for JYP groups (something about their music just doesn't appeal to me) and STAYC has a random song that I like here and there but nothing substantial enough for me to want to listen again.

1. IVE
- Obviously, my ults! They have my favourite discography ever, it's like it's perfectly catered to me. The dynamic between the members feels very relatable to me, they're very calm and chill with each other but it's still very obvious they care for each other.
2. Newjeans
- They recently became sort of "semi"- ults, where I've gotten to know the members a lot better and they're very similar to IVE to me while not being the same but both groups have pretty calm dynamics to me and I enjoy that cause watching their content becomes very relaxing. Oh yeah, and they make some of the best music ever gg
3. StayC
- Great music, don't know the members that well, but the music is enough to put them over the others for me.
4. Aespa
- Still some great music but everything has hit the same way for me, but I really like the members so that kinda makes up for it to me.
5. LE SSERAFIM
- Some banger music but stuff like Unforgiven I just don't like and Fearless became kinda boring. But they have probably one of the best b-side discographies in the 4th generation!
6. (G)I-dle
- I recently realised... I do not listen to their b-sides at all and the fact that I find myself not caring to do so, says enough that I don't love them as much as I could? They make some solid music tho!
7. ITZY
- Used to be my ults but I've just not cared about any of their recent releases, Cake also doesn't sound too great. But the girls are great, still love them.
8. NMIXX
- Well the music just isn't that great, I only listened to their newest releases while watching Music Bank for ZB1 so I can't say I care too much... but they're super talented and if JYP gets his shit together, they got so much potential to hit it big. -

Le Sserafim : They secured the top spot thanks to their "full" album with interesting b-sides
Itzy : Great group even if JYP is mismanaging them a lot and that's crazy
IVE : They impressed me with their recent release. I AM is the best TT of 2023 from a GG. Mark my words
Aespa : I like their release and this mini album is not an exception. No weak track IMO.
Huge gap
(G)I-DLE : I'm not a fan of their current musical direction and cringe on most of their TT, but I'm glad they're finding success.
Nmixx : Their earlier release were not of my taste but they're saved by LMLT.
Newjeans : I don't like their concept in general and their recent release was not for me ig. Tho they have some interesting songs.

1) G-idle - great songs, self-composed makes the songs more personal, great performers
2) Le sserafim - great songs, great performers (plus Yunjin’s self composed songs are amazing), very likeable members
3) IVE - great songs, interesting members
4/5) newjeans - interesting songs, interesting performances/dance
4/5) Itzy - good songs, great performers, likeable members
6) StayC - good songs, good performances
7) aespa - I only like few of their songs, beautiful vocals, ok performers

1) IVE - IVE is the first group I follow after the disbandment of IZ*ONE. Their music so far is good and really a no skip for me. Also, I'm loving the members so much too especially they have a very unique vocal color that I like.

2) Aespa - I love their music. Winter is my bias.

Other is just casual listener, I just basically listen to their song.

Probably have to show my bias here but I really like Itzy, music and the girls. Their personality is likable, work ethic, performances and their demeanors are great. The Fan 2018 variety show introduces me to Yeji and Bibi, and then I started following them after that. I have the most of their songs compare to those that are listed here. Sneakers, Cheshire and Mafia, I thought they were good but I know some don't like them. Maybe I have bad ears or just biased, lol. Just didn't understand the hate it got.
StayC and GIDLE, I don't follow them as much on contents compare to Itzy. But their songs are all great. I like Rado, he seems like a competent CEO and extremely talented for StayC. The girls are talented, and their Teddy Bear song was really cute. GIDLE has Soyeon, who carried the team and had so much responsibilities on her. Yuqi+Minnie unique vocal is just so great altogether. On Queendom, I was really praying for Minnie and Hwasa Billie Eilish song, because fuck would that be a treat for the ears.
I have only recently follow LSF, IVE and aespa. Got some of their songs on my list. Manchae is adorable and thought Chaewon was great on her variety. Yujin got me into IVE from Earth Arcade. A few songs from them on my playlist. If anything, I only follow their content if the members I see is on it; Yujin for EA, or Eunchae for her diary. Karina is really pretty and so is NingNing. No other opinion on aespa.
NMIXX and NJ, I hadn't deep dive into either group so I really have no strong opinion. Although I think I like Haewon the most, she's funny. Memeable.
Other 4th gen GGs who I will always follow when they drop a comeback/song.

I’m gonna rank them based on how many songs I like from them.
1. Lessarafim: I like Blue flame, fearless, Eve psyche and No celestial. I also enjoy watching their stages. They and Itzy are the best 4th Gen groups with great stage presence imo.
2. Newjeans: I Like Hype boy, attention and to a lesser extent OMG. Ive been finding their recent releases boring and their stages feel underwhelming. It’s quite unfortunate they lip sync in most of their performances I’ve seen so far. But they are still a new group, barely one year old. So I know they have the potential to grow
3. G-idle: Popstar and Tomboy so far. I liked My bag but it got boring after sometime. They are quite talented and heavily involved in their music output so I respect them. I’ve barely watched their stage performances so I can’t judge on that.
4. IVE: Love dive and kitsch. Apart from music I don’t follow this group much
5. Itzy: WannaBe. This song was a bop. And I’ve watched most of their performances for this track. They have the best stage presence in 4th Gen. But unfortunately their recent releases have been so bad. I’m still holding on to them redeeming themselves later
6. Aespa: Black mamba. This group has the same flaws I see in new jeans. They lip sync in most of their performances and much of the music they have put out after black mamba are not vibe(Disjointed structured songs trying too hard to be experimental don’t impress me much) Their recent song for Tetris wasn’t bad though so I still have hope for them.
7. Nmixx: I did listen to their debut song. I’ve forgotten how it sounded but I remember it was very bad. I’ve heard some of their covers and they have amazing voices, probably the best I’ve seen in 4th Gen yet.
