Hello! So, I figured this should be fun. In our heads, most of us tend to idealize our faves and put them up on a pedestal, seeing the best in them and ignoring their flaws. While there’s nothing wrong with that in moderation, it’s also healthy to take a step back and see them from a more nuanced perspective. We’re all human and all make mistakes from time to time, it happens. Just to be very clear, don’t use this thread to hate on any group or anyone else, just to either poke fun at their flaws, or call them out for it, but without spreading hate.
For me, I’d say cultural appropriation, but I don’t feel qualified to discuss that, so instead I’ll say it’s Stray Kids and their weight/fat jokes towards Changbin. Literally every single member has probably done it at this point, and they’re so often, it’s like a plague. I don’t even find them funny. The other members (aside from Changbin, who usually just seems done with them) do though, so I guess humor is subjective. I don’t think they genuinely bother Changbin, or not anymore at least, because he seems like the type of person to tell them to stop if it was/is too much, but still. How often they make them is alarming, and they’ll even drag them in out of nowhere. Like, they’ll be talking about one thing one second, then bring up Changbin and being “fat” the next second.
What about your faves? What do you not love about them? It could be a personality trait you just don’t love, their talent in a certain field could be slightly better, or something like that. It can be a big or small, one time or a repeat mistake. Feel free to elaborate as much or as little as you want to. Stick very strictly to your faves though, because otherwise you could come across as bashing or hating if you aren’t careful. This thread is not for that, only to point out flaws.
