Probably because of how rare it is to win a rookie award in KMA. Record shows no existence of a kpop group in that category before and that may have been the reason why fans exclude KMA when talking about rookie grandslam. It is more of an unattainable award until aespa broke the barrier and became the first idol group to achieve such feat.
