Also she has great chemistry with the male lead.

Some of the criticism is about her acting, some of it is about her pronunciation and nasally/lispy tone.

Okay so out of all the moments they cherry picked as bad acting was one where she was acting a scene that she acts and a scene where she runs/escapes normally. Making fun of how “unbeautiful” it looked? is she supposed to run like this?

I didn’t watch the drama because I was not interested and I get the sensitivity of the subject overall so not defending that. However I read the comments about her acting and from what I could tell is that she acted better than they wanted her to lol.

Cut her some sleeks, she isn’t a great or the best actress of the world but it’s her first real kdrama role. I think people are more critical due to the whole story/plot controversy and issues that a lot of international fans underestimate and belittle

Well. She is not Meryl Streep, but it was Ok for her first role. Tbh i was expecting a worst performance.

I said the same thing in the discussion thread but at times she was more natural than the other actors. Some of them overacted and I thought it was bad.

YG is so dumb Jisoo should have starred her in a drama with a small role first so she could have gain experience but now she is staring in a big drama as a lead.
