I really appreciated Zig Zag, it feels like they're singing about the modern life and expressing what young people feel like, "I don't know myself", I'm happy then I get angry all of a sudden, I don't know what's going on with me these days, etc.

I like how they express this relatable feeling, that my life is crazy and in chaos, at the same time there's the feeling like we will get through it, it's just a normal part of life!

If we go by the number of likes = measurement of engaged/committed fans gained, then Weeekly has the 4th most gains in committed fandom. Hopefully that will be reflected in their next comeback's album sales.

I never expected Weeekly's After School to basically take on a life of its own, long after promotions for it ended 2 weeks ago.

Put it this way, After School MV is getting 1 million plus daily views and trading places with all the legends and big names of Kpop in the Top 10 of Kpop MV daily views.

Likes and Dislikes of After School: What I hope Weeekly drops and keeps in their new comeback

Likes:

Didn't like the melody in the chorus, liked the melodies everywhere else though.

LOVED the melody in the instrumental.

Liked the little clapping snap beats throughout the song.

Dislikes:

The instrumental was too quiet, especially in the chorus.

The bass (beat?) was overwhelming. To the point where at points it drowns out the rest of the song.

The chorus was a bit too slow

Some parts of the song felt really messy and since After School is a more nostalgic song that threw me off a bit.

After 2 months, what do you think about Ven Para by Weeekly?

A little over 2 months since release, what do you think about Ven Para by Weeekly after that time? Has your thoughts/opinions changed? Have they mostly stayed the same, improved, or worsened? (even by a little bit)

Weeekly didn't gain a international following after afterschool's spotify/youtube success? Why?

Except album sales i don't really see a good improvement in any other aspect. Their spotify and youtube streams for holiday are on the bad side when u consider how both on yt and spotify afterschool did 100M. It's serving faceless kpop viral track without much gains. Did the company not capitalize well on it? Or people just liked the song but didn't care that much about weeekly singing it?

I feel sorry for Weeekly

STAYC put them in the back burner, Aespa made people forget they exist, now IVE is pushing them behind the other edge of the universe. How will things get for them when Kep1er / My Teenage Girl GG / HYBE NGG / Min Heejin NGG / YG NGG / JYP NGG / TBL NGG / etc debut? Weeekly was supposed to be one of those "upper mid tier" groups but it seems they will be lucky to even be upper low tier at this point. 5gen competition will make 3rd gen competition look like a walk in the park.

Im really scared for weeekly

I have been getting into them after the release of afterschool and they are probably my favourite gg right now and soeun is favourite member in the group. I enjoy watching their variety content a lot and they are fun group, the weeemergency series is quite fun if you guys wanna check their variety content.

They were the rookie of year of 2020 and had a viral hit after-school in early 2021 but after all that they still don't have a strong fanbase, they only have less than 300k subscribers on…

shes opened up a twitter account called @jiniousyoonie. she went live (or whatever going live is called in twitter terms) and said some tea about ist entertainment.

i could not find any recording of the live but a daileee on discord translated what she said:
