groups on hiatus which i stan but kinda on a break now: vixx, infinite, red velvet, snsd

groups which disbanded which i loved: f fucking x T_T , sistar

groups I may end up fully stanning in sometime (idk man I like them a lot too but not enough to properly say stan) : ateez, skz, mcnd, aespa, day6, nct

tbh I am very confused with what the definition of stanning is, like if it is buying albums then I just buy any album that i like a lot.. I may not even be a fan...idk but I listen to a lot of music from a lot of groups regularly and watch a whole lot of content too

With the 'stanning' there is no universal definiton, it seems everyone takes it differently. To me that's a weird word, that I don't really like to use, because it has negative connotation imo.

I could say I 'stan' The Boyz and Got7, since I'm a big fan, but with others I'm more causal. But some people say they 'stan' many groups and their definition is probably different.

I used to refuse using this word, because it seemed too much, but it's so widely used in kpop 'slang', that I still just use it sometimes.

Yeah I agree, its so vague...

I have been a kpop fan for almost 12 years now so I have naturally have had obsessions with various groups during various times, I still like them and check them out but not necessarily am that obsessed like before... its so confusing to me when people ask me about stanning..

for example, I buy almost all nct albums and watch a whole lot of content and even like members a lot.. but the kind of connection I have with my ult is a bit different? so idk if I stan them or not... idk its difficult to know lol I have given up.. I just watch, buy and listen whatever I want at this point
